Kuriboh's Happy World

Because Chaos Kuriboh decks need some more Kuriboh-ing.

(By the way, I only specify Kuriboh and Winged Kuriboh because they are the true brothers... And have proper support. I don't care for the wannabe brothers volt and photon or even bon, however rainbow is pretty nice. But still, not fluffy enough for me.)

This card sound very fun, to be honest.

Chaining a Flute of Summoning Kuriboh to any destruction effect or a Call of the Haunted sounds hilarious. It nullifies MST (sometimes) and Raigeki plays, and the Field Spell even protects itself.

Then it covers up Winged Kuriboh's window of damage that its anime counterpart did not have, meaning with this Ancient Gear Golem would have not pierced.

Finally it works with Chaos Sorcerer, Lightpulsar, Collaserpent, Wyverbuster, Darkflare, BLS Envoy and Chaos Emperor, and by doing so it either will get a Kuriboh ready to defend in hand, or a recycled Honest, and yes, it does sound like sometimes a player would go for Kuriboh over Honest if they lacked DARKs in the Graveyard or if they expected their LIGHT boss to be taken out by other means.

If somehow a custom meta could include this as one of the tops, you'd see players going Darkflare and recovering Honest predicting the cycling into Lightpulsar, and stuff like that. It'd be interesting.

The last effect shouldn't be so narrowminded, IMO.

I mean, you can technically use Winged/Kuriboh for a few different things because Flute is a fuckin' E-Tele for them. So why limit the last part of the effect to only a handful of monsters?

Do you mean it as in, being able to bring back banished Spell/Trap Cards? =0

For some reason the only card ever made that seems to be able to do that (except for Capsule and Sarcophagus but in another way) is Primal Seed. Yeah that could be interesting.

I'd agree.

But I don't think Spell/Traps often get banished, or do they?

Usually they don't, but there's plenty of ways to do it.

-Skill Prisoner, Breakthrough Skill, Mischief of the Yokai and Mischief of the Gnomes all are Trap Cards that banish themselves from the Graveyard to re-activate their effects.

-Spell Striker can be Special Summoned from your hand by banishing 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard.

-Having a Masked HERO Dark Law on the opponent's side or a Macro Cosmos face-up anywhere on the field will banish whatever Spell/Trap Cards.

I'm not sure if there are any more of those, but for the most part those are the chances of getting a banished S/T. Of course, Spell/Trap Cards would not always be the best choice to get back if this Kuriboh support worked on them regardless, but the option would be there.

I meant that the recovering Banished monsters part of the effect is fine. But having it limited to ONLY going off when you play BLS/etc, is what makes it harder to work with.

Compare This card to something like Chaos Zone, and you should see what I'm getting at.

Ohh ok, so I should make it something like
"When 1 (or more) of your "Kuriboh" or "Winged Kuriboh" monsters is banished: you can target 1 of your banished cards; add it to your hand."
