Elemental Heroes are awesome and this helps a lot

One question is it op?

Lore:Select one "Polymerization" and one "Elemental HERO" Fusion monster from your Graveyard: Banish them. Then gain Life Points equal to the DEF of the banished monster and inflict damage equal to the ATK of the banished monster. Cards with the same name as monsters used to Fusion Summon that monster cannot be used as Fusion Materials for the rest of the Duel.

I would probably assume from the Graveyard, since you can't banish a Polymerization on the field (unless face-down) and hand wouldn't work either.

This is why you need to specify WHERE cards are being sent from; otherwise it might imply that we can banish the cards from anywhere. If this were true, we'd be getting a lot of broken combos.

 

That being said, it's essentially heavy LP gain for you / burn for them; and basically can be used to push for game.

Last effect is pretty much laughable to some extent, considering that players will either run multiple copies of the material monsters OR they've served their purpose enough that they don't need to make another Fusion.

 

 

So in a way, yes it is OPed.

Also helps if you post the card lore underneath, so easier for us to fix OCG.
Then again, Gadjiltron and I both asked WHERE are you intending to banish stuff from?

 

I will assume the Graveyard, but you have to specify it on your own.

With that in mind, it's still basically an endgame thing (if you need to push at that point).

Technically speaking, you could still other copies for Xyz / Synchros and other business, but imposing more restrictions on this card would basically kill its purpose.

 

Again, this is more of a mid/end-game card when you have your bosses in the Graveyard and either need to restore LP lost during the game or just burn the opponent enough.

 

(A lot of HERO Fusions have around 2500-3000 ATK and 2000-2400 DEF, so this will hurt the opponent A LOT, while restoring you quite a bit)

 

 

That in mind, a few more suggestions because even with the changes, things are still a bit on the high end.

 

I could probably suggest lowering it to half the amounts (or base it on the monster's Level x 200 points), and then we could probably drop the last effect (or reduce the impact).

As noted, by activating this card and banishing a boss; you basically stage a comeback (to an extent) and the opponent either loses or will in the next turn or so.

 

Keep in mind that it also sets up for Parallel World Fusion stuff (essentially use the banished monster + something else to Fusion Summon a new HERO).
