So, it came to my attention that Trains needed a searcher. However, MST is a thing, so the fieldspell isn't always reliable. They need something that can search out what you need, but is also immune to common threats. With Titan Conductor, Trains have their own half-Stratos. However, Trains kind of need their Normal Summoned, so dropping this guy, searching out a Train, then passing is kind of lame and doesn't accomplish much. Therefore, I found it prudent to also give this guy Castor's effect, except for level 10 Trains specifically.

 

Is this the HERO trains deserve? Comments and suggestions welcome :D

Aww, I thought Ruffian Railcar was a decent searcher...

Anyway, this card is useful for digging up N-express-K, but not much else. As it is, it doesn't solve the trains' inherent problem...field Spell protection.

This card helps thin your deck/bring combo pieces to hand, but like Ruffian, if you don't hold other pieces, it doesn't help.

It is good that you added that secondary Normal Summon condition though. Trains needed the ability to have field presence.

What I really like about this card is that it loops so much better with Revolving Switchyard. Summon N-express-K, use Switchyard, Summon this, add another N-express-K.

Actually, I wouldn't say field-spell protection is the problem Trains have, nor is searching. I think overall, they just need another Level 10 that can be summoned normally and safely; heck, a Level 10 Machine Altair would be a GIGANTIC boon to the deck. But right now, for this card, searching out generic level 4 Machines gives this card the ability to search out so much that ISN'T Trains. I would say leave it to level 10's. Another thing is this card would be much better as a level 10 you can normal summon without tributes; just a thought.
