Didn't I tell you to follow the Advanced Clause in the past? Your comment offered nothing useful to help the user improve, nor did you even address the content in question. This is your 2nd warning, so enjoy your punishment in this case. Also keep in mind that if you complain about this, the punishment WILL be harsher. You already got warned about this from last time. Trebuchet MS
WHY SHOULD I BE PUNISHED FOR COMMENTING POSITIVE FEEDBACK ON A TOPIC THAT I LIKE!!?? It's not that you were punished for giving positive feedback, you were punished for consistently not following the rules. We'd like to see feedback that elaborates a little more on the cards, how they function, etc, instead of "nice card, would like to see some more" and little else. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Like Gadjiltron mentioned, I don't mind that you give positive feedback, but you do have to elaborate on why you think they're good. You just saying that they're good (without specifics) doesn't help the user to improve.
eternalInfinity
*sigh* why is it mandatory to elaborate? it doesn't make any sense.. :526081_key:
Flash Flyer - Sakura
By elaborating on your thought process, it does two things. Allows the member in question to understand what they can do to improve their card(s); including any information regarding possible combinations with existing stuff. While yes, we aren't going to hold you to Advanced standards, but at a minimum, you should be able to know about any potential loops with existing cards, and certainly if a card is blatantly OPed. Even if this is the case, you should explain it to them, and if you're able to, offer any suggestions. Allows you, as a reviewer, to understand how to CnC a member's cards properly. Remember that Casual is lighter on its Advanced Clause reinforcement. Once you move into the Advanced area, the standards are higher. Again, saying good job is fine, but you need to elaborate on why you think that way. Neither you nor the member in question improve if you don't explain your thought process. We don't expect an essay out of you, but cover the basics. (Is this card badly designed? If it is, what can be done? If you liked the card, what in particular do you like; regarding its design or in the case of Pop Culture content, how does it correlate?) Some questions you should consider. --- Custom Cards is an area for members to show their content and get help on improving. Having you explain enables you as the reviewer to get better at critiquing cards and understanding our standards, and the member in question can use your critique to improve their own craft. MoonlitTempest
Mmmmm personally I feel as if the cards do not have an erm...how do you call it, general theme? Let me use some actual Yugioh decks for example, Dark Worlds are based off of discarding, Noble Knights are focused around equip cards. These cards, however, seemed as if their effects were not thought of as synergy which I find weird if the Deck is [from what it seems] supposed to bring out the boss fusion. I mean you can say that they interact with other cards in the field, however at the moment it seems like this Deck will rely off just Normal Summoning, luck of the draw and praying their opponent does not rush them hard. They have no effects that help you draw them, bring them out onto the field in massive numbers, recycle them etc...The only thing they somewhat have going for them is maintaining their presence in the game overall (which I believe only two of your cards truly does that). But yeah, that was my criticism. To summarize it, make them work together more as an archetype, and not just individual cards. Make them all focus towards their end goal of bringing out that powerful Fusion, and not just a few of them.
