Bringerofcake
We are now a year and a half out from banning this. Is it good to bring it back?
L853RCHU
Yes, Artifacts will own if the opponent activates this card, so they would need to be careful.
Atypical-Abbie
The Heavy Storm argument is a pretty interesting one, at one time, Set 5 is typically frowned against, but also mass destruction is, so which one would you rather have? Personally, I would rather have the Set 5. It's not THAT bad, only few Decks can really do the whole Set 5, and those are typically anti-meta Decks. There exist cards that can blow up your opponent's backrow already, they may not be as good as Heavy Storm, but they still exist. I just don't like cards like Dark Hole, Raigeki, Heavy Storm etc. which without any effort can blow up everything you worked for, setting you far back, while your opponent gains all the advantage of having no Spell/Traps to worry about. Another thing is Pendulums, at one hand being able to destroy them is nice since they are so powerful, at the other, it is bloody annoying to just have your cards blown up. ihop
Definitely not. I know it forces the opponent to choose carefully which backrow to set, but is that really a good thing? All it does is make backrow-heavy decks worse because they can't set everything they want or maybe need, especially in a format where decks can make so many plays that you kinda need a full-ish backrow a lot of the time. It's also such a mindless card to activate because it's always good, and the fact that it's bad against a lot of decks just makes games even more dependent on who draws what. Toffee.
Regardless of what anyone says... In a format that has This card floating around, people will ONLY play This card if they can sack the win on the same turn. If not, they are just doing it wrong. And that's basically the reason why This card will always be stupid.
J-Max
With MST at 3, this card can stay dead.... The only kind of Deck that benefits from this is Artifacts and it is a lot harder to get Spells and Traps back then it is monsters.

It's also a valid option if your opponent lays out all their backrow right away, since it cripples them enough to decide the game. Players have been known to scoop in that scenario. evilfusion
I don't really get what you're saying with this comment, could you explain it in another way? I think he's saying that if Storm is around, people play it when they're going to win that turn. Alternatively, they play it to get a huge plus because the opponent set more than 1 card. Because of the factor that wiping out all backrow means minimal defense when pushing for game, Heavy Storm is always an evil card to contend with. For me, I've found the game more fun after Storm got banned, just by merits of being able to Set more than 1 card a turn without having to Set an anti-Storm card. Not quite "Set 5", but being able to Set 2 cards and not feel it's a stupid move because I don't have Judgment or similar makes for a better Duel. Toffee.
Guys, just play HEROs. They have up to 9(technically 3) searchable Feather Dusters :kappa:
