When this card is Xyz Summoned successfully: Return any Banished cards to the owner's Deck(s), then shuffle the Decks.  As long as this card remains face-up on the field: Any card sent to the Graveyard is Banished instead, and your effects that target cards in the Graveyard are switched to acceptable targets in the Banished Zone instead.  Once per turn during your Main Phase: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and if you do, target 1 Level 3 or lower monster in either Graveyard; Special Summon that target to your side of the field in defense position.  Monsters Special Summoned by this card's effect cannot change their battle position.  If "Banisher of the Light" is an Xyz Material for this card, you can banish the top card of your Deck instead of detaching an Xyz Material in order to activate this card's effect.

 

My idea behind this card was entirely based off of an awesome combo / boost for "Banisher of the Light", which a friend of mine uses often.  Tell me what you think!

I like the idea. It requires LIGHT monsters to Xyz Summon, and it locks effects that activate in the Graveyard(too many monsters have based their effects on activating in the Graveyard), but still allowing effects that add from the Graveyard, which would be a card that's banished, instead. Really, the only piece of criticism is the bit of," If "Banisher of the Light" is an Xyz Material for this card, you can banish the top card of your Deck instead of detaching an Xyz Material in order to activate this card's effect.", but that's about it.

When this card is Xyz Summoned successfully: Return Target any number of banished cards; shuffle them into the owner's Deck(s), then shuffle the Decks.  As long as this card remains face-up on the field: Any card sent to the Graveyard is banished instead. and If your cards or effects that would target a card(s) in the Graveyard, they can instead target banished are switched to acceptable targets in the Banished Zone instead as if they were in the Graveyard. Once per turn during your Main Phase: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and if you do, then target 1 Level 3 or lower monster in either Graveyard; Special Summon that target to your side of the field in Defense Position, but it Monsters Special Summoned by this card's effect cannot change their its battle position.  If this card has "Banisher of the Light" is an Xyz Material for this card, you can banish the top card of your Deck instead of detaching an Xyz Material in order to activate this card's effect.

 

Since only your cards can get that banished/Graveyard replacement effect, this card is effectively half a Dark Law. Floodgates that affect both players are already rather disruptive, but floodgates that have their strongest bite on only their opponent is taking things a bit too far. I would remove the Graveyard/banished replacement effect to reduce its functionality outside of specially-constructed Decks. Naturally, this card's revival effect will have to target only banished monsters.
