ihop Posted June 1, 2015 Report Share Posted June 1, 2015 I'm sorry, but if BA and Shaddoll are "cancerous" decks then I don't know what a good one is. I know this is going to look a lot like bias because I played Shaddolls for ages but honestly I'm playing Qli now and if there's a cancerous deck it's that. Shaddolls actually promote player interaction, create and interesting, skill-based format and aren't exactly overpowered to the point where it's impossible to do anything against them. Sure, they force the opponent to play differently in order to not get hit by certain cards but if anything I'd say that's a good thing, especially since it's so easy this format. If you want a cancerous deck, look at the piles of floodgates like Qli, Yosenju and Tellars. BA aren't quite as interesting but still the fact that they all float requires some playing around. Fire Lake is terrible, but other than that the deck is fine. I'm not saying Shaddoll shouldn't get hit, they should, but as a result of them being one of the top decks, not as a result of them being particularly cancerous. I made my list a few weeks ago and it's relatively minimal but honestly Shaddoll with 1 Construct are pretty mediocre because Construct's the only way for them to get serious advantage. Limiting El Fusion is cool and would be my second choice, of necessary. Also, can we at least try and act like decent human beings? This argument descended into a load of vitriol and it's absolutely unnecessary, if you disagree with someone make an argument but stuff like "your opinion has no relevance" is not productive and pretty rude.
