CLG Klavier
lol my sides Almost everyone agree Super Poly was a good ban. It's uninteractive removal.
Ryusei the Morning Star
A lot of people in the TCG do believe that Super Poly was rightfully banned. No-one wants to sit through a format with decks having access to Super Poly since it isn't a healthy form of removal. And it did what at one? Shaddolls need to be hit regardless Koko you can keep scapegoating around that fact and ban cards like Super poly but that's just robbing more fair decks of a card to use Shaddolls robbed Heroes just as Rulers robbed every other dragon deck with Rejuv and Ravine @klav fuck your sides. By that logic solemn Warning is effectively uniteractive removal. This isn't TCG anyway last I checked. Yam's list is far more similar to OCG so shut your damn trap I don't have a thing against TCG. But if we're gonna unban a shitstorm like Stratos it's only fair you extend that level of power all around the format
CLG Klavier
Warning kills 1 card and had a real cost as opposed to Super Poly. Warning is reactive, Super is reactive AND proactive.
Ryusei the Morning Star
Do we even consider LP a cost anymore after the advent of Soul Charge. Guess we better unban Solemn Judgment and Royal Opression then. Super Poly is a neg one. It might be reactive but there are plenty of ways to hit the damn monster summoned. Ya know maybe if Compuls was @3 you wouldn't be shutting bricks about getting a monster stolen

Ryusei the Morning Star
More "TCG is a pussy format" from you. Some things never change. When the hell did I ever say that. I'm just pointing out that if you consider LP cost as a real cost to basically unreactable cards then Solemn Judgment and oppression should be legal. Don't you dare put words in my mouth mate. I think Compuls is a fair card that should never have been hit with Heavy. Unlike BTH and Torrential that shit is chainable and gives heavy the finger. It's also quite fair as its only a benefit for you against extra deck monsters unlike the other two. Please work on your reading and ignorance

(GigaDrillBreaker)
Let's not make this a flame war, ok guys? Lifepoints costs are certainly relevent, just not nearly to the point that costs involving card advantage are.

Lifepoints costs are certainly relevent, just not nearly to the point that costs involving card advantage are. The discard cost for Super Poly is a direct decrease in card advantage. Two monsters of yours=-3 One of opponent=-2 Two of Opponent =-1 If we consider the opponents loss a +1 then normally using two of their cards is a +0 Noden and Shaddolls can bring that to a +1 maybe 2 if construct. Seeing the +'s Shaddoll fusion can create I think we can agree that TCG has evolved past the age of crying over +1/2's I have no interest in a flame war. I would appreciate if Klav could open his mind a little barring that not openly embrace ad hom
Spinny
TEW you don't even like or know our format so why are you here? You also act as if you know everything about it when you dont. Albeit klav isn't exactly, um... Yes yes, I'm sooooooooory TEW-sama, our beloved, knowledgeable king of games~Taking you seriously.... At all. Also, please understand that we have all shaddolls cards not hit yet in tcg, meaning that super poly packed a really big punch over here. It could single handedly win games, and turn two of your opponents synchro's/xyz into a norden for you. (Well now it can at least) Also, I wouldn't really like having 3 compulsory running around, its removal that ignores floats and puts your opponent back quite badly in game state, it isn't healthy by any means in our format that doesn't have such massive power cards like CyDra infinity and trishula, that make compulsory look fair. Torrential tribute is more fair than Compulse wtf are you on about, unless the top deck is yang zing over there. Bottomless trap hole at least has a requirement, but yeah, its pretty OP, but its fine at 1 IMO. Anyway, that's all I'm gonna say about the list for now, personally, I like it. Ryusei the Morning Star
You make it sound like OCG limited every Shaddoll card mate. Construct is banned, El is limited. Shadow Games is limited Um construct belongs at 1 or 0 due to how it's always going to + for you on summon El is an OTK machine and a way to dodge traps Games is a bad hit on OCG's part Since when is Winda a healthy card? Like if ophion is degenerate so is Winda. I'm not advocating hit "all of Shaddolls cards" I'm suggesting Winda, Construct and El to 1. Um was it not TCG who was upset about the cir Dante loop. You can't like floating at one pt and then hate it when it's convenient to you. Your format doesn't have CDI?! Well your format doesn't have Noden either then right? Or is this 4th new format where you pick cards that are convenient for your arguments Torrential on the level of +'s it creates far outdoes Compuls. BTH too can do similar damage and is searchable to make up for its restriction Why was Trishula brought into this discussion? Card is bad for TCG keep banned. Spinny
Comparing the fact that you have three of your best cards banned or limited, it just proves my point. So does saying that construct deserves banning. Saying that winda isnt a healthy card just proves my point that super poly wouldn't be good for them. I implied that we only just got noden by what I said in the brackets. Torrential isn't run in most decks because it can also minus you heavily if you are in the lead, but also work for you if you aren't. I'd say that's fairer than a universally stupid card. BTH is only searchable by a card that is mediocre right now... I said that we don't have trishula for a reason. So again you just proved my point. Fine, fuck super poly, those three cards still need to get limited. I don't think you understand that the Shaddoll level of floating is just plain bad for the game
(GigaDrillBreaker)
To be completely honest, as a dedicated Shaddoll player, I can confirm that they are degenerate as shit. Even so, they are one of the most skillfull decks in TCG metagame at the current moment, so my own personal views on the game force me to want them to stay as long as possible. No Giga I was a huge Shaddoll player too last format. I saw what Envoy Dolls did with all their main power card limited (took control of over 50% of the OCG meta post Water Doll) and I see that that's the problem of the damn deck floating like root beer and not nessesarily the fault of one powerful removal card. If TCG does not feel the same as I do about Super poly, fine. Doesn't change that fills are bonkers and unhealthy regardless of the format. (GigaDrillBreaker)
In my opinion, the random chance involved in BA decreases the skill required. This, of course, is nothing more than a personal opinion. I also fucking detest Burning Abyss with every single fiber of my being. And yeah, TEW, I was agreeing with you that they are fucking degenerate.

A nerfed Doll vs nerfed BA match up should in theory be pretty skillful as well. There's no need to promote power creep for the sake of "skill" I personally see nothing skillful about OTKing with El, but as my wonderful friend Klav noted I'm not as wise to TCG as say, him OCG is a god awful format btw Klav. There hasn't been a good format in its entirety after April 2014. That's does not mean there is not useful to learn from its mistakes. Not sure why your ego won't allow you to recognize this simple fact

Not sure why your ego won't allow you to recognize this simple fact The issue with this theory is that Burning Abyss really aren't currently having much impact in TCG. Shaddolls are around second strongest, along with Qli and Tellar, but really none of these compare to Nekroz. Without a sufficient Nekroz hit, these kinda of limits do nothing more than push Nekroz even further ahead of the curve.

I apologize for not saying it. Nekroz arnt healthy either. This is one area to learn from OCG. Massacre that shit. Brio should have been limited. I don't care about short print and money. Limit two mirrors, limit 3-4 of the rituals. Put the damn deck down. We need a rapid convergence to the age of Dino Rabbit level power creep or this game is fucked. Limit scout as well for qlisMy problem with OCG is they haphazardly make good hits. But the follow up with bat shit crazy shit. Like mark my words infernoids will be a terror post list My problem with TCG is they are too money grubby to execute. Brio @2? You can smell Tewart crying over the lost revenue.
