G. The Lone Wolf

The idea to turn my RWBY OC, G. Into a card came to me when I was board one day and remembered the cardmaker existed.

Lore: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having 5 or more Beast-Warrior-Type monsters in your Graveyard. If you have 7 or more monsters in your Graveyard and control no other monsters, this card can make a second twice during each Battle Phase. When G. The Lone Wolf If this would be sent from the field to the Graveyard, banish it instead. During either player's turn: You can banish this card until the end of this turn. You can only activate this effect of "G. The Lone Wolf" once per turn.

 

The effects here fit the character herself, feedback on their effects on the decks and games is always welcome.

Pretty strong beating stats but requires some Graveyard setup. And functions best as a lone wolf with the double-attack effect while alone. Not too terrible, but not too powerful either.

 

I feel that it can accommodate an additional effect. Maybe briefly introduce the character's personality or abilities so that we can get an idea on what you're trying to express with the card?

well, her personality is let out a bit by how she's summoned and how she works alone, as for her abilities... She creates and jumps through wormholes. The only way to represent that would be to allow her to attack directly, or bypass defense position monsters. Oh, and thanks for your help with the wording.

Creating and jumping through wormholes? Reminds me of a certain card.

 

We can incorporate that ability in an effect similar to that card, to give her a form of defense against targeting effects. Of course, with some restrictions on how often you can do it.

 

So the additional effect would look somewhat like:

During either player's turn: You can banish this card until the end of this turn. You can only activate this effect of "G. The Lone Wolf" once per turn.

That would be a fun effect, I'll think about implementing it. It would be quite useful if I make it a quick effect, she dodges out of the way of big spells and the such.
