Spellcaster/Pendulum/Tuner/Effect
Pendulum Effect: If you do not have a "Magician" card in your other Pendulum Zone, destroy this card.
Monster Effect: If this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can target 1 Level 7 or higher "Odd-Eyes" monster you control; reduce its Level by 3, and if you do, Special Summon this card. Cannot be used as a Synchro Material, except for the Synchro Summon of a Dragon-Type monster. If this card is used for a Synchro Summon, and the other Synchro Material(s) is not an "Odd-Eyes" monster, place this card on the bottom of the Deck.

This card is actually broken, just for being a somewhat generic level 3 P-Tuner. That's easy to search.

It's the inverse of the Dragoknight, but it's more notable because of the range it offers. Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon, Explosive Dragoknight Ignister Prominence, Scrap Dragon, Stardust/Spark, Clear Wing, Black Rose/Moonlight, and so on. This thing has a good number of good cards to make, and its level is good at making those happen. 3+5/3+4 are both good levels to work with, especially the latter.

Spinning to the deck is hardly a concern, because Skullcrobat Joker exist and it gives you the ability to better use it with an Odd-Eyes later. Did I mention Meteorburst is an Odd-Eyes? Or that this bitch isn't Once Per Turn?

Also expect one more Odd-Eyes monster from SD29 or DOCS that works with Dragonvein.

Dragonpit (Level 7 WATER) + Odd-Eyes = Absolute (R7 WATER Xyz)

Noble + Odd-Eyes = Meteorburst (Level 7 FIRE Synchro)

Peasant (Level 6 WIND, both effects restore advantage from grave on summon or ED as a scale) + Odd-Eyes = Vortex (Level 7 WIND Fusion)

I think most, if not all of us saw this coming: Eventually Konami would release Pendulum Tuners that translates to Synchro Summoning every turn while restocking materials in the Extra Deck. Sure, they were careful at first by releasing a pseudo-Tuner such as the Zefra Yang Zing, then a Tuner restricted to an archetype (Dragoknights), and now to a type (this). I bet we will get non-restricted Pendulum Tuners eventually and things will get more crazy.

trying in pendulum magician, not many use of this for now, can be used at most twice before returning to the deck, it can only make level 7 since most of the magicians are 4/7 and there's no decent level 10 target....it can make ignister but will need stargazer...which is not worth running, well...at least it can recover itself after being dumped for dragonpit/dragonvein

but yeah as a pendulum tuner, this level of restriction is appropriate

i don't see why teching 1 stargazer is bad when it's easy as fuck to find, tbh

You summon odd-eyes a lot, and you have, like, 3-4 good 7s, one of which can synergize with Pendulum Call at times.

Granted, I'm speaking from P-Pals more than Magicians atm, but this card is stupidly good.

There is no way Konami is retarded enough to give us an unrestricted Pendulum Tuner.

(Remember this quote, I know you'll need it later.)

The classic response to any "Konami couldn't possibly be THAT stupid" remark, although now the Dragon Rulers (all 8 of them) and/or Spellbook of Judgment would probably be more fitting.

As for the card itself: It makes a Level 7 once with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, but after that needs to make Level 10 Dragons. Currently, that's Ascension Sky Dragon (meh) or Trident Dragion. Trident Dragion gets really worrying with Pendulums, however, since you can just destroy any other Pendulum monsters you summon when you summon NDM and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. Luckily, designing Level 10 Dragon Synchros can be avoided easily, but I get the feeling Konami will eventually make a really stupid one.

EDIT: Forgot Trident Dragion needed a Dragon Tuner and that this isn't a Dragon.
The design is worrisome, but so far the Level 7 Synchro portion is most threatening.

fortunately you cant call dragion with this since it need dragon tuner so you're left with ascension...which doesnt work well with pendulums that's why this card currently isnt that broken

havent tried pendulum call since its not on ygopro yet, but yeah, it'll definitely make this card easier to use, since without it you can only search this easily with odd-eyes, and since it also search stargazer yeah ignister play could be a lot better
