Flare909
Lore: ( has been edited) [b]This card has been updated significantly from: shuffling crystal beasts into your deck, to attaching them to seraphic bahamut instead. I've increased the attack gain by 1000 instead of 500 for each crystal beast attached to seraphic bahamut. (Because rainbow dragon is very hard to summon) Bahamut now loses 1000 ATK for each crystal beast that detaches from it. (so it only has temporary attack boost for each crystal beast still attached to it) If this card has 4 or more Xyz Materials attached to it, it cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. This card gains 1000 ATK for each Xyz Material that is a "Crystal Beast" card. Once per turn: You can detach 2 "Crystal Beast" Xyz Materials from this card; banish all other face-up cards on the field. If this card has "Rainbow Dragon" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect. *During your Main Phase 1: You can attach all "Crystal Beast" cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone to this card. Trebuchet MS
Must be Xyz Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card has 2 or more Xyz Materials attached to it, it cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects as long as you have at least 2 Xyz Material(s) attatched to this card . When this card is Xyz Summoned using "Rainbow Dragon" as any 1 of its Materials: Send Shuffle all of the "Crystal Beast" monsters cards in your Spell & Trap Card Zone into your the Deck, then this card gains 500 ATK for each card shuffled into the Deck this way. Once per turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; banish all other face-up cards on the field. (except this card.) Hmm. What are the chances that I'll be having 3 LV10 monsters on the field in a Crystal Beast Deck? For sanity and consistency purposes, even if I'm running a Rainbow Dragon build, I still only run 1 copy of Rainbow Dragon (thank heavens, Crystal Vanguard), and 1 copy of Hamon. There's no reasonable way I'd be able to make this in a Crystal Beast Deck. But fortunately, that little extra condition involving Rainbow Dragon and Crystal Beasts results in such an insignificant ATK boost that you could remove that effect and its function won't change largely - not to mention being counter-intuitive to the general Crystal Beast playstyle. Other than that, it's still usable in Decks that like to make Rank 10s, like Trains. Pretty intimidating, too - well-rounded protection from card effects that it can opt to shed in exchange for being able to boardwipe. I'm not very certain on how easy it is to put down 3 LV10s on the board, even in a Deck that generally should be dedicated to such a strategy. Determining how easy it is to Summon might warrant watering down its boardwipe effect since effects that neither target nor destroy will become quite valuable. Flare909
I agree to utilize it to its full potential takes lot of effort. However it was meant to have gimmick that revolves around "rainbow dragon". As for using it in a deck, it would be hard; I used to use "Andro Sphinx" and " Sphinx Teleia" to summon "Supersimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer". Thomas★Zero
wouldn't you more so make it so it can also be Xyz Summoned by placing it on top of a Rainbow Dragon you control to make it easier to summon in Crystal Beast so it rewards you for using Rainbow Dragon. Flare909
Wouldn't that make it overpowered? Do you mean just having rainbow dragon on the field enables you to Xyz summon this card. Well I've altered affect according to your idea by attatching crystal beasts to seraphim rainbow bahamut instead of sending them to your deck. Gives a slightly better reward for using Rainbow Dragon by allowing you possible access to its self-protection, which is now inaccessible if you make it using other monsters. Changed the wording of the ATK boost so that it's a separate continuous effect rather than part of an ignition effect to better reflect how you want it to function. But now that it needs 2 LV10s to make, we need to consider the fact that it's a non-targeting non-destroying nuke available to every Deck that can put down 2 LV10s with ease. (again, Trains.) Considering what else is out there, this card can hit harder and clean out face-up threats better, even if it only does this for one instance normally. Care needs to be taken such that the card doesn't accidentally become really powerful outside its intended Decks.
Flare909
I agree it's current effect is fine, as with its banshing effect I've restricted it to only "detaching 2 "Crystal Beast" Xyz materials" instead. So now you need to have rainbow dragon in your arsenal to use this card effectively, otherwise using 2 standard lvl 10 monsters will only make 4000 ATK monster.
