Should have made this thread ages ago but our nationals was won by Tellars maining this which throws up some interesting questions and scenarios. This thing absolutely thrives in backrow decks in a Tellar-heavy format for two reasons - it's great against Tellars themselves and also, more interestingly, a heavy Tellar-based format leads to Nekroz decks potentially maining Denko, which makes this even better against Nekroz, which it's already pretty decent against because it hits the Jus. It's also half-decent against Shaddoll and again, good if they put in Denkos games 2 and 3.

Since I'm not active in the metagame, I did see it as the side and even main in a few decks but wasn't sure how mainable it really could be.

It does sound like the meta contains a lot of cards this could counter.

Now I feel kind of bad that I wasn't able to connect the dots when I heard about this vs Nekroz because the word makes me think of WATER more than anything, even though the Jus are so essential for the deck....

What are the rulings on this card?

Inherent vs Effect-based Summons and Summoning a single monster vs Summoning multiple monsters at a time (like Pendulum Summoning), and if the usage against multi-Summon is legit, can it work if the multi-Summon contains non-DARK/LIGHT and it takes only the legal ones it can take down, or is it illegal to attempt it?

Game 1 Round 1 of Nationals I lost because I chained Book of Moon to a Dimensional Prison on my Winda. Next turn I go to flip the Winda and he responds with this. I was not best pleased. Its definitely a legit maindeck card for very backrow-heavy decks, but quite a lot of other things take priority so the only decks that could really fit it in are Tellars and maybe Yosenju.

I have not tried it yet, but it does look good for this format. The LP cost is what discourages me from playing it, but back then I thought the same on Warning and in the end I ended up playing it; and Warning is not quite the staple as before (as far as I know) so I guess I can give a try to this one now.
