So i know other people have done this, but i had the idea in in my head and wanted to see if i could do it.

Dimension Lord Oslel

Level 7

LIGHT

Fiend/Effect

This card cannot be Summoned, except by it's effect. If your opponent controls an Xyz Monster(s): Special Summon this card from your hand, target one of those Xyz Monsters; equip that target to this card. You can only Special Summon one "Dimension Lord" per turn. This card gains ATK equal to the original ATK of the Xyz Monster equipped to it. This card cannot be targeted or destroyed by the effects of Xyz Monsters. Once per turn; you can Special Summon the card equipped to this monster in face-up Attack Position, but if you do it is destroyed during your opponent's End Phase.

Dimension Lord Jippre

WIND

Fiend/Effect

This card cannot be Summoned, except by it's effect. If your opponent controls an Xyz Monster(s): Special Summon this card from your hand, target one of those Xyz Monsters; equip that target to this card. You can only Special Summon one "Dimension Lord" per turn. As long as this card has card equipped to it by it's effect it can attack your opponent directly; also, it cannot be destroyed by battle and any battle damage you would take from battles involving this card is halved.

I personally feel that Genom-Heritage and Heraldry Crest are a little more thematic in the whole Meklord-for-Xyz thing.

Kinda confused over how much easier it is to SS these than the original Meklords.

how are they harder? all you need is for your opponent to control a Xyz monster that can be targeted. also genom and crest are xyz. I think you know i don't mean xyz versions of meklords, but more anti-xyz meklords.

Uhm.

Yes, I understand the whole concept you're trying to get at, just that I personally feel that Genom-Heritage and Heraldry Crest do the job a little better at being anti-Xyz cards, seeing that they accomplish a few more things by snatching the effects and allowing you to use them for yourself.

sorry. i misread that. they're easier to get out cause i feel one the problems with the originals is in getting them out. what would you suggest changing here?

Not everyone uses Xyz Monsters. Even though Meklords focus on inhibiting Synchros, they're all easy to Summon; one of your monsters is destroyed by a card effect.

true, not everyone runs Xyz monsters. but like i said ^ there to gadj, one of the problems i see with the meklords is in getting them out. sure this might not be perfect, but it's something.

I would opt for making them more closely mirror the Meklords in their Summoning procedure. The Meklords themselves aren't supposed to be too easy to Summon in exchange for solid power and effects, so you can dial up the inherent power in these cards a little bit and have them SS only when a monster you control is destroyed by a card effect. Or by battle due to an opponent's attacking monster if you think card effect is a bit too difficult.
