TF2_The_Scout
Rampage of the Dragons Continuous Spell You can only control 1 "Rampage of the Dragons". During your End Phase: Destroy as many Spell/Trap cards your opponent controls, up to the number of Dragon-Type monsters you control. If a Pendulum Monster is destroyed by this effect and sent to the Extra Deck: You can pay 1000 LP; Banish that card(s). If you do not control a Level/Rank 5 or higher Dragon-Type monster, destroy this card.
Trebuchet MS
A few punctuation errors here. You can only control 1 "Rampage of the Dragons". During the End Phase: Destroy Spell/Trap cards your opponent controls, up to the number of Dragon-Type monsters you control. then If a Pendulum Monster(s) was destroyed and sent to the Extra Deck by this effect: You can pay 1000 LP; banish that card(s). If you do not control a Level/Rank 7 or higher Dragon-Type Monster, destroy this card. You can't chain multiple colons and semicolons in a single sentence, so I split the Pendulum-banishing effect into a separate effect. "Maintenance" effects shouldn't start Chains or add Chain Links as they're designed to vanish the moment the failure condition is met, even in between Chain Links. I can't quite recall the swarm ability of Dragons nowadays, but the closest one I can think of that poops out high-Level Dragons fast enough to reliably sustain this card would be Hieratics. But most of the time I see them already clearing a path for a game-ending push with whatever they need and don't necessarily need further backrow popping during End Phases. At least the card implies that it can trigger during your opponent's End Phase, which can make attempting to retaliate or stave off their board state increasingly difficult since the user is getting a Dragon-based Righteous Justice before their opponent can even hope to Chain on their S/Ts. TF2_The_Scout
The ability to trigger during your opponent's turn was actually a mistake on my part. It should only activate on your End Phase. I'll change that. Thanks. As for the Rank/Level 7 monster effect, it was a dumb gimmick I thought of in order to give it a slight catch, but I'm considering removing it. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Hieratics would be a candidate for using this, yes, but unless it's one of those Ultimaya builds which can easily SS a monster to fulfill the maintenance requirement (Level/Rank 7 Dragon); they likely don't need it. I could say Red-Eyes decks nowadays have a use for it (and they can certainly meet the maintenance requirement to a certain degree), but I'm not sure how quick they spam their 'mons nowadays; but certainly is possible. Like Hieratics, not sure if they really need the extra S/T destruction [however it helps in certain cases]. ------------- At least you fixed the ruling issue, because it would be rather silly for you to be blowing up the opponent's backrow every turn (in both cases). It's also partial Pendulum hate, which does play a role nowadays since the game is adapting to them and you'd certainly see a few of them during the course of the game. This could stop P-Pals a bit [considering their gimmick is pretty much "set the scales and SS like mad"], as well as several of the other Pendulum-heavy Decks that exist nowadays. If Rulers were still legal, then this card's requirements would be rather easy to maintain for a while (but it can still work nowadays, even though they are gone).
