When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned change this card in defense position. Then if both players control a Field Spell destroy your opponents Field Spell and they take 1000 damage.

To be honest, the second effect is rather gimmicky unless both players have a Field Spell up.

Against certain Decks, this deals them burn, yes, but otherwise the most you get out of this card is a basic 2K wall.

 

In terms of Rock decks, there are really only 2 Field Spells that work for them as a whole (Canyon and Catapult Zone; Wasteland doesn't count because it's terrible).

You can splash this in other Decks which run Field Spells themselves, but then there's the consistency issue with doing so.

IMO, you could probably change the effect to change the battle position of a monster or something; given the name.

You can just restrict it to your opponent's monster, for the purpose of softening them up. Not sure about the burn, but I'd probably lower it a bit.

 

Thematically, it would make sense and wouldn't be as gimmicky to pull off as the current effect is.

It's not a bad card in blowing up the opponent's field and burning them, but it activates under situational conditions.

 

To be honest, if you wanted to blow up the opponent's Field Spell, you could always resort to Ancient Fairy Dragon or something (or even Mystical Space Typhoon or other common removal).
