To be honest, I find this card to be rather underwhelming.

 

First of all, why would you fuse two random monsters to make this card, which don't have any similarities to this; especially since Flame Wingman is a Fusion monster himself.

Yes, you can use Fusion substitutes, but to be fair, even Rune-Eyes and Beast-Eyes do more.

 

Being able to search your Deck for a powerful monster is nice, but keep in mind you only get this once.

 

I should note this now, but given this card is Level 9; there are no monsters that can Pendulum Summon this card from the Extra Deck.

You can boost the scales of another monster, but that's more setup required just to use it.

 

Pendulum Effect is rather lacking as well; we're not in the age of Yugioh where stat boosting means everything, especially given the fact removal is VERY common.

With that in mind, it's essentially pointless to even be a Pendulum Monster, since at this time, there is no way you are placing this as a Scale.

 

Given it is a Fusion Monster, you cannot set this from the hand and to even set off the scales, you'd have to give it an effect similar to what Odd-Eyes Rebellion does.

I don't know how useful it would be in battle, but this is a very interesting design with some intriguing potential effects. 

 

Somewhat off-topic, but can you tell me how you made this card? I wanted to design some Pendulum Monsters, but I can't figure out how.

He made it using TCG Editor, a secondary option to our card maker due to the fact that it has Pendulums and better quality for the most part.

There's also a GIMP/Photoshop template that Zextra (my co-moderator in this section) designed (with some conversion help from me), which is also available (provided you have access to said programs and possess enough skill to modify text layers).

As I mentioned earlier, this card isn't particularly good in terms of usage (and even summoning it).

 

While it's nice that you can Tribute it to SS a high Level, remember that one of the materials is indeed an Extra Deck monster (and Odd-Eyes Fusion cannot help with making this from the Extra Deck). You can run a Fusion substitute, but why. Flame Wingman and Odd-Eyes have no synergy with each other.

 

If this were a Tag Duel with Jaden / Yuya, then maybe; however, this is you playing against a single opponent.

Do you think that you can run the two materials together without compromising playability?

 

You also cannot P-Summon it once it leaves the field, since the only Scale 10+ right now is D/D Magical Astromer Kepler (and he's restricted to D/D's only). You can use Pendulum Turn to modify the Scale of 1 of your monsters, but I'd rather use Odd-Eyes Rebellion instead or even the prototype Odd-Eyes Fusions.

 

Additionally, the Pendulum effect is moot, since there is no way you are going to be able to place it in a P-Zone without another card's effect.

 

Even if this card did have a way, the effect there is rather specific and not really useful nowadays.

It's a stat bonus, yes, but we're beyond the era of Yugioh where beatsticks are the norm.

Remember what I told you in the past. These types of comments aren't acceptable in Custom Cards unless you provide some degree of explanation (you can view my previous post in here for an example; no, you don't have to write that much, but you get the idea). 

 

Also, keep in mind you did bump this thread from 15 months ago. (Believe I said something about necrobumping to you as well)
