Violently Repressed Riot

[spell Card]

Activate only if you control a monster and your opponent controls more monsters than you do. Destroy all monsters your opponent controls. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card.

CnC appreciated : would this card be a usefull spell card in current metagame ?? why ? is this card enough balanced to be played at 3 ? ... ?

Well, it's basically a Raigeki that costs you the Battle Phase for the turn, and you need to be losing in field advantage.

It's an out to swarm Decks, yes (although it does nothing about floaters; although you could easily play a 2nd copy).

In a way, I can see this as a 2nd - 4th copy of Raigeki (and recall that Raigeki was banned for the longest time due to it being free removal; then again, Dark Hole essentially functioned like that as well in certain cases.)

I'd recommend adding an OPT clause (once per turn), although it is unlikely you'll be using it more than once (except against floaters).

Thanks for the comment  :D

I'm not sure an OPT clause would be really usefull... as you say, it's very unlikely to be used twice in the same turn  :/

Btw, is this card playable in a format where you can play Raigeki (x1) and Dark Hole (x2) ??
