Lost Woods of Velduun (Good for Beast Decks)

A quick grammar fix:

When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: Negate the attack, then end the Battle Phase and Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Beast, Winged Beast or Beast-Warrior Type monster from your hand or Deck. You can only attack with 1 monster during your next Battle Phase.

It's probably not perfect, but it is clearer now. I might post a review tomorrow but I'm too tired currently.

Just keep in mind that OCG fixes don't constitute a review under the Advanced Clause.

I won't give AC break warns this time, but please remember that for the future; thanks.

(Might've been best if you saved the OCG fix + review for a time when you are less tired)

In any case, I could probably see Bujins running this along with stuff like Heraldry (assuming the two are still relevant).

However, I should note that latter already has a card to stop attacks/end Battle Phase; but the SSing from Deck might be of some help in there, considering most of their members fit the SS targets.

For former, it does help with their swarming in getting monsters ready to Xyz Summon the bosses. In fact, this may even prove of some use in Harpies to a certain extent; given that it also supports them (and other Decks that can use the extra SSing power).

Attack restriction might be counterproductive for Decks that focus on swarming though; mostly on Harpies and to an extent, Heraldry Beasts.

Bujins, not really sure if they swarm [but it probably won't hurt them too much].

Oh, sorry about that, but thanks anyway.

Anyway, I quite like the card. It is more or less a combination of Emergency Teleport (for Beast-Types not Psychics) and Negate Attack. As an attack-stopper it is fairly mediocre as it doesn't hurt the opponent in any way, unlike Mirror Force or Dimensional Prison, and you have to respond to a Direct Attack, unlike Negate Attack. However, it does its job of protecting your Life Points, and you wouldn't just be using it for stalling, you would also use it for the search. It has a lot of targets, many of them quite good, so it would be easy to use in a deck.

I imagine it being most useful in slower or less consistent Beast, Winged Beast and Beast-Warrior Type decks, that are vulnerable to having an empty Field and where the summon would help speed things up. In faster decks that might be unlikely to control no monsters, it would be less useful as you are unlikely to be attacked directly.
