Lore: When a "Mecha Phantom Beast" monster you control would be destroyed by battle, except for a token, Destroy 1 Token; then end the Battle Phase, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Mecha Phantom Beast" monster from your hand. You can only activate 1 "Shoot Me Down, If You Can!" per turn.

 

Been meaning to post this for awhile.

 

A great way to get out another MPB (If they aren't attacking a token) to set up plays if you can't get it fast enough.

Technically speaking, MPBs aren't going to die if a Token is up anyway (you take damage, yes, but it won't result in destruction).

But yes, it does help them with speed issues at times; and is nice for getting rid of stray Tokens that you don't need at the moment so you can get their Levels right for Dracossack or something.

 

That, or just get stuff for a Rank 4 if the need arises.

 

Although it might be good for Jacruslan and stuff, since they lack protection themselves.

Just keep in mind that you are running the risk of having no protection if you blow up the Token that blocks MPBs from dying, and don't replenish it.

In most cases, you should be able to restore it (either Aerial Recharge, or some other monsters).

I totally ignored the Not being able to be destroyed effect xD

 

But now I came up with two different changes that could work but I don't know which one is better.

 

When a "Mecha Phantom Beast" monster you control would be destroyed by battle Targeted for an attack, except for a token, Destroy 1 Token; then end the Battle Phase, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Mecha Phantom Beast" monster from your hand. You can only activate 1 "Shoot Me Down, If You Can!" per turn.

 

OR

 

When a "Mecha Phantom Beast Tokenmonster you control would be destroyed by battle, Destroy 1 Other Token; then end the Battle Phase, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Mecha Phantom Beast" monster from your hand. You can only activate 1 "Shoot Me Down, If You Can!" per turn.

 

 

 

The first one only requires one token to be on the field while the other requires two (Which works in getting dracossack like you mentioned)
