JamesXCx
Lore: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by discarding 1 card, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; this card's ATK and DEF become equal to that monster's current ATK and DEF. While the targeted monster is face-up on the field, this card cannot attack. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can pay 1000 LP; place this card at the top of your Deck.
TF2_The_Scout
Let's see if I can fix the wording. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned(from your Hand) by discarding 1 card. When this card is Summoned: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; this card's ATK and DEF become equal to that card. While the targeted monster is face-up, this card cannot attack. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 1000 LP; place this card at the top of your Deck. So, this card seems to be a worse version of Copycat to me. I mean, Copycat can be summoned faster and can still attack. It's then a Spellcaster, so it benefits from things like Spellbook of Power. This card though, I can't think of many practical uses for, other than putting things in the graveyard.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
You can also use it for Rank 5 plays if the need arises, but to be honest, if we needed quick Level 5 monsters from the hand, stuff like The Tricky (requires the same discard, but can still strike + be NSed if needed) and other things would be better. If it didn't have the attack lock while the other monster remained on the field, it'd be a lot better since you can use it to suicide something. Given the wording, "must be Special Summoned" indicates a Nomi monster, so yeah it's not really great there since it is indeed just a really awkward stat booster. You can recur it, yes, but by doing so, you run out of cards to fill this card's SSing costs, and certainly will leave your LP lower. As egotistical mentioned, you can use it to put monsters in the Graveyard; but like I mentioned, Tricky does that a lot better without being constrained ATK-wise. -----------I'll further fix the OCG: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by discarding 1 card, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; this card's ATK and DEF become equal to that monster's current ATK and DEF. This card though, I can't think of many practical uses for, other than putting things in the graveyard. It's useful for:1. Sending cards to graveyard and special summoning them or activating their effects.2. Blocking an attack of powerful enemy monster.3. Always have at least 1 as powerful monster as opponent.4. Summoning doesn't require tribute so you can summon it when you're out of monsters.5. If opponent manages to destroy it with spells or traps, you can easily get it back so he is kinda in bad position. If I didn't give it some flaws, it would be way too OP. You can also use it for Rank 5 plays if the need arises, but to be honest, if we needed quick Level 5 monsters from the hand, stuff like The Tricky (requires the same discard, but can still strike + be NSed if needed) and other things would be better. I don't wanna make cards that exist already. xD
Trebuchet MS
And this is not Tricky. I don't wanna make cards that exist already. xDUnfortunately, as much as you don't want cards to be used that way, some will see it as the most efficient way to use the card, rendering it functionally identical. By the way, this card is still very vulnerable to destruction outside battle since it only recurs if destroyed by battle.
