jabber2033
A little late on the Ban List fad, but was bored. Threw this together based on the other Ban List threads floating around. Some are my own preference, others are common choices. This list is designed to weaken the current top tier decks without making them too unplayable, while also promoting a bit more variety. [spoiler=List] Forbidden (7):Denko SekkaDjinn Releaser of RitualsRoyal Magical LibraryNekroz of TrishulaBlaze Fenix the Bombardment BirdLavalval ChainMacro Cosmos Most of this is probably self-explanatory. Macro Cosmos hit is a smack on the wrist to RBs Limited (10):Qliphort ScoutCir, Malenbranche of the Burning AbyssEl-Shaddoll ConstructEl-Shaddoll FusionEmergency TeleportInstant FusionSuper RejuvenationLose 1 TurnMind CrushMistake Qliphorts, Dolls, and BA are weakened. Instant Fusion and Lose 1 Turn are preemptive hits. E-Tele hit also weakens RBs a bit. Super Rejuvenation is fairly safe due to the banning of the Rulers. Mind Crush and Mistake have become popular Main Deck and Side Deck staples respectively. Semi-Limited (7):Red-Eyes Darkness Metal DragonBook of MoonDragon RavineReinforcement of the ArmySummoner’s ArtBottomless Trap HoleCompulsory Evacuation Device A lot is personal preference here. Would love to see REDRUM to 2 for a format just to see what happens, along with Book of Moon. Again, with no Rulers, Ravine can return. RotA and Summoners Art weaken Tellars and Qliphs/Igknights respectively. BTH and CED to 2 are personal preference again. Neither are used too much. Unlimited (3):Glow-Up BulbSinister SerpentSacred Sword of the Seven Stars This is really all I felt safe bringing to 3. Feel free to comment/critique/bash/whatever. (GigaDrillBreaker)
Why Cir, rather than Graff?
Ryusei the Morning Star
El-Shaddoll ConstructEl-Shaddoll Fusion I'm blue in the face about Nekroz Trishula, but can't we limit super poly now that Shaddolls got massaced
jabber2033
Why Cir, rather than Graff? Mostly because of Cir's recycling. With one Cir, it's harder for them to continuously recycle multiple Dantes and Virgils. can't we limit super poly now that Shaddolls got massaced Kinda iffy on Super Poly tbh. Slinky
Graff is what gets the deck going. Cir is what maintains it. Cir also makes Dante significantly dangerous too, since a Cir attached to a Dante, can revive that same dante if it dies, basically netting you 2 grave retrieves for basically doing nothing. (GigaDrillBreaker)
I don't deny that at all. I just tend to prefer hitting speed over resiliency.
Slinky
once it comes down to it, Cir is live more often than Graff is. Both cards are deserving of a hit though. be it Graff from 3-->2 and Cir from 3-->1, or both to 1 and TGU to 2. I prefer the latter, but the former is also a really good choice if need be.
