TF2_The_Scout
Authority of the Machine KingCounter Trap If you only control Machine-Type monsters: Negate the activation of s card effect and destroy it. Then, apply 1 of these effects. If you control "Machine King", your opponent cannot activate effects in response to this card's activation and resolution. *If you control "Machine King", all Machine-Type monsters gain 500 ATK until the end of your next turn.*If you control "Perfect Machine King", destroy 2 Spell/Trap cards on the field.*If you control 1 other face-up "Machine King" trap card, draw 1 card. Flash Flyer - Sakura
No love for Machine King Prototype?Anyway, it's essentially a generic Secret Move for Machines, except with a bonus if you run original Machine King (which isn't particularly great). I'm a bit iffy on it being able to kill 2 S/T cards without targeting them; most of the time, removal cards should target. However, given that Machine Kings aren't exactly used much nowadays, I suppose it'd be acceptable, although make the effect target. You need original Machine King to gain a power bonus, although that doesn't help too much nowadays.A lot of Machines have good ATK yes, and added on is a plus, but Machine King isn't good now. Controlling 3000 B.C. nets you a free draw, which is nice.Although there only exists this Machine King Trap Card, so not much else we can do about this. ----But yeah, generic negation isn't cool though; especially when stuff like Qlis exist and are still relevant. 宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Just saying, giving Qli a Solemn Judgment isn't a particularly good idea. It'd be fine if its effect only works with Machine King, because otherwise the top Machine-type deck of any given format is gonna have a field day with this.
