Traptrix Drosera

This card is unaffected by the effects of "Hole" Normal Trap Cards. Once per turn: you can Tribute 1 other "Traptrix" monster you control; shuffle 1 "Hole" Normal Trap Card from your Graveyard into the Deck, and if you do, draw 1 card.

First of all, this is a fun archtype and I'm glad you're interested in adding to it.

This looks like it should help with the draw power of Archtype, though I'm not sure that's entirely needed. Still, it has great synergy with Rafflesia. Might also make Trecherous Trap Hole a bit more worthwhile for a deck spot, although it honestly doesn't go nearly far enough if that was the intention. If it was the intention, you might consider an effect where you would choose two, add 1 to your hand and then banish the other or otherwise add it to your deck. It almost seems like this might anticipate another Traptrix that focuses on returning the Archtype's monsters from the graveyard.

Out of curiosity, what plant are you basing this card off of?

It is a Drosera.

This is very clearly meant to be summoned off of Dionaea, but to be completely honest, I don't think it does enough. It yields you a +0 if used normally (it also lets you convert dio's +1 into a different +1, but going into myrmeleo and then rafflesia just seems so much better, especially as pendulums become more frequent) and that really isn't enough to get it going. Drawing 2 cards might seem overwhelming, but I honestly think you can get away with it.

Ah shucks thanks guys~ And yeah I based this off of sundew because sundew. This cards intended purpose was to help out rafflesia because she tends to use up the cards rather quickly and they become useless in the hand. Perhaps I could redo dro here into a magical mallet type of thing where she sets you up for using her again by discarding a trap?
