·Toot
I think this guy should be pulled off the list. With Mass Driver dead, it shouldn't be too bad. Yeah there are other cards that can use this, but I think a once per turn errata or something down that lane would suffice. Say this card get's unbanned with the original effect. How do you think it would be used? I know I would probably change up my Piper Chaos a bit. Lol.Cannon Soldier would probably love this as well lol. Sleepy
I don't think Konami is gonna keep on errataing for a while. They stopped after their short wave, and they probably know they overdid it with some of them with a few rushed conclusions (looking at you Sinister Serpent). Though if there is a card that really desperately needs an errata to be able to come off the list, it'd be this one.Otherwise you can always still find some way to setup something to keep on the burn.Catapult Turtle got errata'd and Mass Driver is gone, but Toon Canon Soldier can probably be a thing, being searchable via Toon Table of Contents or Toon Mask. Hmm rather than a bunch of erratas though, I think it'd be better to get a retrain of this card. They didn't make it too well last time with a hard OPT clause that only grabs from the Graveyard and lacks the battle protection, and a real Substitoad effect but OPT would have been great to revive the deck with sufficient power. Toffee.
Part of the whole issue behind this card, is that you could do dumb sheet like....Tribute monster to Summon Swap -> Swap mils stuffTribute Swap to Summon a 2nd Swap -> Mill againTwibute the 2nd Swap to Summon 3rd Swap -> Mill againTribute Swap for more Frog stuff in your Deck. etc. Then just play Cannon Soldier/Toon Cannon Soldier/Mass Driver/etc and keep reviving your Ronintoad to burn the opponent to death, cuz' you filled your Graveyard with Frogs. Was actualy pretty consistent at that, given the sort of cards you need to make it. Oh, and we had One for One@3 as well(If I remember correctly). Basically it was a big "funk you" to everything else, because the Deck was made of, like, all Commons/Rares/etc, didn't need to use the Extra, could win on turn 1, etc.Probably one of the only times Burn.dek ever did anything significant. Hexanort
even without loop you can just use scapegoat with this to call 4 frog from deck.....which give you serious R1-R2 plays....definitely need OPT
evilfusion
Ronintoadin LOVES this thing. And yes, it was in desperate need of a OPT clause. It's absurdly easy to bring out 5 monsters from an empty Field so long as you have this and a Ronin. I vaguely remember doing that very thing in a few Rps ages ago. It was stupid, especially by my RP standards.
Zauls
It would make Frog Monarchs actually viable again because they can put all their Treeborns and Ronintoadins (plus all the fodder) in the Grave ridiculously easily. Plus it's searchable off One for One. A hard OPT would just make it a worse Lonefire for Frogs, which would be fine.
ihop
Even a soft OPT is fine, it's funking frogs.
