Thar
Interview for what? Can you resubmit? It was for a paid internship as a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technician for a product development company that consults people who want to sell a product but doesn't know where to start. It would've been my job to turn their ideas into technical drawings for which the manufacturers would reference to turn it into a reality. However, despite how the inquiry I submitted for the job consisted of my resume as well as a cover letter that was approved by several people including my dad, all who know what to look for in such things, the owner of the company, whom I've been contacting with for a week beforehand, decided that I should fill out a standardized application that pretty much asked of me everything that I submitted in the inquiry, only this time, I was to submit it in spaces that I could literally not fill out without running out of space. After several tries, I submitted my best attempt, and he responded telling me not to waste my time driving up to where the interview was being held, since my lack of control for writing within a "perfectly reasonable" margin is enough to raise concern towards my ability to perform in a job that's meant for people who have yet to gain experience in the field. I highly doubt that I can try again, but I might as well send him another copy of the application. For where I'm at in terms of a job, I'm more than willing to risk it.
