VCR Generics Take 2

Redid some Generics and refreshed my pool. Some were cut, and many were added. Enjoy:

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) in face-up Attack Position by having 2 or more Level 7 or higher Machine-Type monsters face-up on your field. This card cannot attack the turn it is summoned. If this card attacks; at the end of the Damage Step: Change it to face-up Defense Position, and if you do, you cannot Special Summon for the rest of the turn. If this card destroys an opponent's monster in battle: Increase the ATK of all Machine-Type monsters you control by 800. If this card leaves the field; destroy all monsters you control. You can only control 1 face-up "Assault Brigadier".

3 Level 10 Monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this monster using a Rank 7 or higher Machine-Type Xyz Monster as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Cannot be used as an Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon. If the total number of banished cards is an even number, this card can make additional attacks on monsters equal to half the number of banished cards during each Battle Phase. If this card attacks, it is changed to face-up Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; target up to 2 Spell or Trap Cards in either player's Graveyard: Banish them. If this card leaves the field: Destroy all monsters you control. You can only control 1 face-up "Assault Marshal".

1 Tuner + 2 or more Non-Tuner Machine-Type Monsters
You can Special Summon this card (from your Extra Deck) by sending 1 face-up Level 7 or higher Machine-Type Synchro Monster you control (except "Assault Commander") to the Graveyard. If this card attacks; at the end of the Damage Step: Change it to face-up Defense Position. If this card battles a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. Once per turn, you can pay 500 LP, target 1 face-up monster: Change its Battle Position. This card cannot attack the turn you use this effect. If this card leaves the field; destroy all monsters you control. You can only control 1 face-up "Assault Commander".

This card can be Normal Summoned without Tributing, but its original ATK and DEF are halved and its Level becomes 4. If this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard or Tributed from your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard in face-up Defense Position. You can only use this effect of "Frontline Combatant" once per turn.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by having only Machine-Type monsters in your Graveyard (min. 1). You can only Special Summon 1 "Ironclad Kami" per turn. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls: Negate its effects, and if you do, its ATK and DEF becomes 0 until the End Phase.

2 Level 8 monsters

Once per turn, when this card battles a Special Summoned monster your opponent controls; you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Destroy the monster this card battles with at the start of the Damage Step. When this card declares an attack; it cannot be destroyed by card effects until the end of the Damage Step.

2 Level 10 Machine-Type Monsters

Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Send 1 Machine-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. You can only use the effect of "Deepcore Piledriver" once per turn.

2 Level 10 monsters

Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: During this turn, this card can attack your opponent directly, but when it does so using this effect, the battle damage inflicted to your opponent is halved.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. At the end of a Phase where a monster you control was destroyed by battle or by card effect and was sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). Cannot be destroyed by battle. If you control a face-up "Tortured Crimson Soul", you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. This card cannot be Tributed, or be used as a Material for a Synchro Summon.

3 Level 6 DARK Monsters
When this card is Xyz Summoned, detach all Xyz Materials from this card. Other monsters you control cannot attack. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the ATK of all Xyz Materials attached to this card. Cannot be targeted by card effects. If a monster your opponent controls declares an attack on this card: You can change the attack target to 1 other monster your opponent controls (if any) and proceed to Damage Calculation. If this card attacks; at the start of the Damage Step, target 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard: Attach it to this card as Xyz Material.

Once per turn, during either player's turn, when your opponent sets a Spell or Trap Card: You can declare 1 card type (Spell or Trap); reveal the set card, then if it was the declared card type, destroy it.

This card cannot be changed to Face-Down Defense Position or Normal Set. When this card is Summoned, roll a six-sided die twice: If the combined result is not equal to 7, this card's original ATK and DEF become 0. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if your opponent draws a card(s) by a card effect, you can reveal the drawn cards: Toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, place the drawn cards on the bottom of your Opponent's deck, then draw cards equal to the number of cards your opponent drew. If you call it wrong, send cards from your hand to the Graveyard equal to the number of cards your opponent drew.

When this card is Summoned: You lose 1000 LP. This card cannot attack your opponent directly. If this card destroys a monster by battle, you can target 1 FIRE Monster with 200 DEF in your Graveyard: Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position, but negate its effects. You can only use this effect of "Constructed Smelter" once per turn.

2 Level 4 Monsters
During your End Phase: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card or take 1000 damage and this card loses 1000 ATK. This card cannot attack your opponent directly. You cannot Special Summon any monsters. If this card has no Xyz Material: Activate this card's effect during your opponent's Draw Phase as well.

6 Level 7 or higher monsters with different Attributes
Must be Fusion Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Fusion Summoned: Banish all cards in your hand face-down. This card's Fusion Summon cannot be negated. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 monster from your deck, but its effects are negated. You can send all other monsters you control to the Graveyard (min. 2): This card's original ATK and DEF become 10,000 until the end of your opponent's next turn. Halve all Battle Damage your opponent receives the turn you use this effect. Cannot be targeted for attacks or by card effects, while you control another monster Special Summoned by this card's effect. Cannot be destroyed by card effects.

Target 1 face-up Spell or Trap card your opponent controls: Destroy it, and if it was a Field Spell Card, destroy 1 monster your opponent controls (your opponent chooses).

At the start of your opponent's Battle Phase, target 1 monster you control: It can declare an attack on 1 monster your opponent controls. You can only activate 1 "Daring Strike" per turn.

When your opponent Special Summons a monster(s), you can: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand in face-up Attack Position but negate its effects, and if its ATK is higher than the ATK of any of the monster(s) your opponent summoned, destroy those monster(s). You can only activate 1 "Hot Drop Assault" per turn.

I like a good majority of these cards, including the Machine "Frontline Combatant", which is the first custom card I ever used. It's great fodder to be used for the summon of cards like Machina Fortress, and its stats are nothing to sneeze at, either.

 

One other card that catches my attention is "Ironclad Kami". Drew, did you intend for it to be a Gearspring Spirit for Trains? If so, more power to you, because I actually have a soft spot for Gearspring.

 

I'm looking forward to more generics in the future.
