Just ditzing around with some bonus "Nekroz" Ritual Monsters [Written/WIP]

I'm pretty much certain that the "Nekroz" Archetype won't be receiving any more Ritual Monsters/"Clothes"/"Armor" in the actual game, but that won't stop me from thinking up new Ritual Monsters for them, =P   Of course, I will be doing my best to follow the "formula" put in place for the Ritual Monsters, which is as follows:

  • Most, if not all, "Nekroz" Ritual Monsters are based on Synchro Monsters from past Duel Terminal Archetypes.
  • Currently, there are no Synchro Monsters or "Nekroz" Ritual Monsters from the DT-Verse whose Level equal 12.
  • The Levels of "Nekroz" Ritual Monsters that feature "Shurit, Strategist of the Nekroz" as their "Base" are all multiples of 3 (as in; 3, 6, and 9).
  • The Levels of "Nekroz" Ritual Monsters that feature "Great Sorcerer of the Nekroz" as their "Base" are all multiples of 4 (as in; 4 and 8).
  • The Levels of "Nekroz" Ritual Monsters that feature "Exa, Enforcer of the Nekroz" as their "Base" are all multiples of 5 (as in; 5 and 10).
  • The Levels of "Nekroz" Ritual Monsters that feature "Dance Princess of the Nekroz" as their "Base" are all prime numbers that if multiplied by a number greater than 1 will yield a product greater than 12 (as in; 7 and 11).
  • This qualification is a bit of a stretch, but a "Nekroz" Ritual Monster based on a non-Synchro Monster from the DT Storyline may be possible if-and-only-if said Monster required a Synchro Monster(s) in order to be Summoned ("Sophia, Goddess of Rebirth", from which "Nekroz of Sophia" is based on, requires the banishing of 1 Synchro Monster (in addition to 1 Ritual, Fusion, and Xyz monster each) as part of its Summoning condition).

You can discard this card, then target 1 "Nekroz" monster you control: during this turn, its ATK and DEF are unaffected by your opponent's card effects, also, it can make up to 2 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase this turn. You can only use this effect of "Nekroz of Dual Slasher" once per turn. This card gains 200 ATK for every "Nekroz" monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn, if this card attacks a monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, and destroys it by battle, it can make a second attack in a row.

● During the End Phase of a turn that you discarded a "Nekroz" Ritual Monster from your hand to activate its effect: Draw 1 card, or, if you have no cards in your hand, you can draw until you have 2 cards in your hand.

Nekroz of Meteor

● During either player's turn: You can discard this card, then target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. You must also control a face-up "Nekroz" monster to activate and resolve this effect.
● When this card leaves the field: Destroy all cards on the field, then you can add 1 "Nekroz" card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand, except "Nekroz of Meteor".

Nekroz of Delta
WATER/Lv7/Spellcaster/Ritual/Effect/1700 ATK/2800 DEF
You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Nekroz" Ritual Spell Card. Must be Ritual Summoned, without using any Level 7 monsters, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You can only use each of these effects of "Nekroz of Delta" once per turn.
● During either player's turn: You can reveal this card in your hand, then target 1 "Nekroz" monster you control; equip this card to that target as an Equip Card. It gains 700 ATK and DEF, also, if you Ritual Summon exactly 1 "Nekroz" Ritual Monster with a card effect that requires use of monsters, you can use this equipped card as a Tribute towards that requirement.
● When a monster in your possession is sent to the Graveyard to activate a card effect: You can equip it to this card as an Equip Card. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the combined Level of monsters equipped to this card by this effect x200. You can send 1 monster equipped to this card by this effect to destroy all monsters on the field whose Level/Rank is less than or equal to the Level of the sent monster.

● During either player's turn, if a monster(s) would be Special Summoned from your opponent's Extra Deck: You can banish 1 "Nekroz" card from your Graveyard and discard this card; negate that Summon, and if you do, return that monster(s) to the Extra Deck.
● When this card is successfully Ritual Summoned: You can banish up to 3 "Nekroz" cards from your Graveyard, and if you do, look at your opponent's Extra Deck, and banish an equal number of cards from there.

Poor Exa. Nobody actually runs him, except for Decisive Armor.

Nekroz of Wayne:

You do realize that all the Nekroz ritual monsters are nomi? So this card can only summon the non-ritual monsters, which doesn't make it very useful. Catastor does mostly the same thing without requiring a summon, yet nobody runs him. As for the first effect, I don't think it should require the extra discard.

Nekroz of Exterio:

Woah. That effect is powerful. Could take a bit of setup to get enough banished monsters, but after that, you're locking out most if not all of your opponent's spell/trap cards. I'd suggest a OPT clause, especially since all the Nekroz monsters have them. As for the first effect, there aren't that many cards that negate spell cards. There's Stellarnova Alpha, Dark Bribe, Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell, Magic Jammer, and Naturia Beast, and that's pretty much it. Maybe you could change it to "Cannot respond to Nekroz ritual spells".

Yes, I was fully aware that the Nekroz Rituals can only be Ritual Summoned, and thus Wayne's effect would only Special Summon the "base-form" members.  That being said, I've gone and changed Wayne's effects.

@ Errata'd "Nekroz of Wayne's" effect.

@ Removed "Nekroz of Exterio".  I may return to this idea later, but for now, I'm scrapping it.

@ Added "Nekroz of Dual Slasher" and "Nekroz of Meteor".

@ Side Note: I had considered doing a "Nekroz" Ritual Monster based on "Dragunity Arma Leyvaten" + "Dragunity Phalanx", thus creating a version of a hypothetical Lv10 "Dragunity" Synchro Monster... but as of right now, I could not think of a proper-enough effect that would resemble that of Arma Leyvaten.  Sorry, Exa, looks like your connection to the "Dragunity" will just have to wait a bit longer.

@ Additional Side Note: Don't worry, I'll try not to forget the other Base-Form Nekroz.  It's just a bit difficult trying to find proper monsters to "Nekroz-ify" for them (glares at Dance Princess, especially).

To be honest, only way you're getting out Meteor is via Exomirror and dumping original one. Or you use Shurit/Clausolas + Zefraxa with Mirror/Ilusion, but no one runs the latter (Zefraxa). Although yeah, you get to ditch/pop something by ditching him.

If it dies, everything blows up, and you get a free search.

---------------

Dual Slasher allows another Nekroz to push for game, or destroy more things if needed.

Then, we have its ATK boosting effect, and punishes Pendulums/ED-heavy Decks by giving it more strength.

(During the late game, you'll likely have a good amount of Nekroz in the Graveyard, so it will get rather powerful by then)

---------

Wayne returns stuff that got banished due to the Ritual Spells (retrieval) or stuff with Mirror, so it helps recover things.

That, and it recovers Unicore/things from the Graveyard or acts as another searcher; suppose it allows you to re-use Shurit's effect on the field for the other stuff.

If you opt to Special Summon, yes it'll only work on Shurit, Dance Princess, Zefrasaber/exa (not really, because Pendulum), Great Sorcerer because of the Nomi stuff.

(As much as I would like to put a "ignore the summoning conditions", that's pushing it; especially since a good chunk of him are already a pain to deal with, so best that you don't)

I don't doubt that Nekroz have a lot of searchers already though (despite Brio getting semi'd and stuff).

At best, this card is probably going to be retrieving dead Nekroz or being another Brio/Clausolas.
