Herald of Ultimateness

You can Ritual Summon this card with "Oracle of the Herald". Must be Ritual Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. During either player's turn, when your opponent would Special Summon a monster(s), OR activates a Spell Card, Trap Card, or monster effect: You can send 1 Fairy-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard; negate the Special Summon or activation, and if you do, destroy that card.

This card is just ridiculous. Once you get it on the board your opponent has to either invest massively to play around it or simply fold, both of which are beneficial outcomes. Being able to use its effect multiple times in a chain is another huge bonus, it's really rather unfair. It's one of the most cuntish cards in existence and I love it.

But then all you need is Perfection.

Which is this thing's main problem - Perfection is way cheaper for nearly as much power.

Why would all you need be Perfection because Ultimateness can't counter one specific thing only done by one deck, while being a walking Solemn Judgement for everything else?

The proposed scenario was to cover Ultinmateness' one weakness - Kaiju or similar effects - with Kyrista, even though Perfectio accomplishes the same thing with Krystia up, while only being LV6.

Kristya can just be used with Herald for the lockdown, not even just preventing stuff like Kaijus on the rare chance you actually end up dueling against them.

So the Kaiju argument is a bit pointless, since Kaijus can get rid of almost any monster.

And if the only Ritual you use is ARA, Lv6 vs Lv12 barely matters.

And getting Kristya out to do this means you have to get Herald first as well as one more fairy to get Kristya so you don't lock yourself out.

I haven't managed to do that often, but I can usually get out Herald fairly often.

So Herald does Kristya's job while Kristya's not on the field.

So using Perfection over Ultimateness means one less Fairy in the grave for Kristya summon requirement, and it means you REALLY NEED Kristya to actually stop stuff from just literally running over it otherwise.

Yeah, no.

So no, Giga, it wasn't Genma's point, at all.

But Ultimateness doesn't need Kristya to prevent SS'ing.

And not many people play stuff like Kaijus anyways.

There are very few Special Summoned monsters Perfection needs to fear anyway, since it's still a 2800 wall.

But all this is beside the point I made, which was somebody covering Ultimateness' 1 weakness with a monster that eliminates the need for part of its effect. Perfection and Krystia does nothing less than Ultimateness ands Krystia, but you've spend twice as much on it.
