Just a generic spell card to help go through your deck.
If we're worried about looping it in the super late game then we could always add "If there are less than 10 cards in your deck, this card is banished immediately after resolution instead of being shuffled into the deck." or something like that.

Still just adds consistency, and is a lower life gain than upstart. Letting any deck run 6 upstart and letting Life Equalizer OTK run 15 is a terrible idea.

I thought 500 would be fine because you'd be seeing it a lot more than you normally would with upstart goblin.

Shuffling itself into the deck potentially lets your opponent gain more than just 1500 in total in the duration of the game, especially after you've done a lot of deck thinning.

The odds of seeing this card more than twice are abysmal. It is better than upstart, an already incredibly powerful card.

Being worse than or equal to Upstart Goblin does not balance this card. You have to take into consideration this card not as an alternative to Upstart Goblin, but as a potential 4th, 5th or 6th one.
