(Feedback welcome) duelingtactics.ygo (My first attempt in AC)

So this is basically my first attempt in making a card for the AC thread.

Lore: Excavate the top card of your Deck, then activate 1 of these effects:

-Put it back on the top of your Deck.
-Put it on the bottom of your Deck, then draw 1 card.
You can only activate 1 "deckingtactics.ygo" per turn. Monsters that you Special Summon during the turn you activate this card cannot attack during the turn you activate this card.

 

CnC/feedback would be appreciated.

The card's name and pic are silly, as in they don't feel "Yugioh-ish", but that's a nitpick and no reason to not take this seriously.

 

Really, the second effect is the main reason anyone would play this card, since it's yet-another deck thinner that can be compared with Upstart, Duality, etc. but the drawback is different and thus it may have a niche in decks that would prefer this over the others. My only concern is that decks that don't care too much (if at all) about Special Summons  locks could run this for additional deck thinning; for instance, Exodia decks. Maybe you should add a hard OPT there to avoid turbo-ing too much along Duality, and discourage Exodias from running this in multiples.

 

As for the first effect, well... I don't really get its purpose. Why would anyone spend a card just to look at the next card in their Deck? Even if it's something strong that you want to draw the next turn, you are better off by placing it at the bottom and draw the next card to enable or proceed with your plays.

 

 

EDIT:

Recently thought on a cute improvement for the first effect: send the excavated card to the grave. That way, if you reveal something that triggers when sent to the grave or otherwise wants to be on the grave, you get the choice of dumping it.
