Draconus297 Posted September 9, 2015 Report Share Posted September 9, 2015 Okay, text fixes go: Timestopper's text should be changed to: When this monster is Summoned successfully, activate the following effect: Your opponent cannot declare an attack during their next Battle Phase. Recruit: Once per turn, you can change this monster's original ATK to 0: Increase the ATK of a face-up monster you control by 800. Soldier: You can Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower LIGHT monster from your hand: you can only activate this effect of "Pure Soul Soldier" once per turn. Dragon: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Monsters you control gain 800 ATK. If a one or more monsters you control would be destroyed, you can Tribute this face-up monster: negate the destruction of the monster(s). If this monster is in your Graveyard during the End Phase of the turn this effect was activated: Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. As for the cards themselves, Timestopper is an . . . interesting variation on battle stopping, Recruit seems like it's just cannon fodder or a Soldier target, Soldier seems like the real pull in the Main Deck (and could be splashed into other Decks for shenanigans), and Dragon is essentially just Stardust at Level 5 with 200 less ATK. Could develop into something interesting, but as it is is just an engine for Dragon.Yea, got me, Recruit is just used to power up the soldier, then destroy something, then synchro the time stopper does the same but to take sure you're saved the next turn and I'm actually planing to make it something more than that dragon engine, this is just the set to start with it. CeroCero Posted September 11, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 11, 2015 For what I know (checked it before making the card) there would be a lot of ways to stop that ''loop'' as it only stops the battle phase, you can still continue your turn normal, so negating effects, banishing, etc, would just send this card back to the hell where is was created, anyways, making it a ''just normal summon'' card would turn it into a trash card, as the point is to special summon it with soldier or timechanger Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
