Maeriberii Haan
2 level 4 DARK monstersYou can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; negate the effect of all other face-up cards on the field, and if you negate 3 or more, this card gains 500 ATK. If this card is Special Summoned with the effect of "Eye of the Enlightened One, Satori": this card cannot be targeted by card effects as long as you control no other monsters. During either player's turn, you can banish this card and discard 1 card from your hand; Special Summon 1 "Eye of the Enlightened One, Satori" from your Extra Deck.1 LIGHT tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monstersWhen this card battles a monster, this card gains ATK equal to the opposing monster's ATK +100 until the end of the Damage Step. Once when this card is face-up on the field, if this card is summoned with the effect of "Rose of the Forgotten One, Koishi": you can banish 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard; this card gains its effect. When this card is removed from the field by your opponent's card effect and you have no other monsters, you can banish 1 card from your hand; Special Summon 1 "Rose of the Forgotten One, Koishi" from your Extra Deck, then attach the top 2 cards of your deck to it as Xyz Materials. Alright, two cards for today's series. I guess...it's less confusing than yesterday's card, so not much to be said here. CnC would definitely be appreciated~
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Not really sure what Deck can utilize both of these, although since Satori will SS Koishi with her effect provided you have nothing else out (and vice versa), I suppose compatibility isn't an issue, and you can just properly summon one of them first. I'd say Chaos-themed Decks could fill either or, but don't think they want to. Anyway, Satori is like Wicked Avatar in a way; she'll be the one who comes out alive in any battles she fights (bar for any post-battle trigger effects and whatever). Being able to copy the opponent's effects is nice, but it does require that you have Koishi SSing this. Then again, this sets up for Koishi when it dies, given it'll use your Deck as the Xyz Materials needed to trigger things. I would probably restrict Satori from copying Xyz Monsters, since she won't be able to really trigger their effects anyway [some Xyz have effects that don't need detaches, so there's that, I suppose], but even if she doesn't get a usable effect off of them, it still gets rid of the monster so opponent can't use it later on. Not really sure what Decks can feasibly get her out initially (even though it only needs a LIGHT Tuner and you have free reign over the other stuff). Koishi is easier to properly Special Summon first (and probably the route you're going to take in setting up the combo most of the time). There are a couple of DARK Decks that can spam R4 (i.e. Blackwing/RRs), but whether or not they have resources to spare for her is another thing. I am a bit sketchy on the negation being permanent (and coupled with an attack boost if it hits enough stuff), even though it's one-time for the most part. Although, you can trigger her effect, then banish her to get out Satori and take on the effect of whatever you want from the opponent's end (well, anything that isn't an Xyz or requires mats to do things). She's granted protection from stuff like Castel and a lot of other removal, provided nothing else exists AND you had Satori get her out.Still weak to Raigeki and Mirror Force along with other sweep removal though, but that applies to a lot of other cards nowadays. In a nutshell, you really only properly summon 1 of the pieces in here, and only a single copy; other two copies of each are basically SSed in a similar vein to what CyDra Nova does when it goes [albeit with specific targets in this case]. Unlike the case with Inti/Quilla, they don't revive each other from the Graveyard, but rather summon extra copies from the ED. This effectively limits you to 3 uses of the combo (assuming you have enough cards in hand to keep doing this), unless you somehow return copies to the ED to go on further than that. Inti/Quilla was an interesting concept, though I'm not too sure about the consistency of said loop for them, given BOTH had to be properly summoned first. These two (referring to the ones in here) don't revive each other, but it is easier to get going (you just need one to be summoned). Well, Veiler and Yuki Usagi is generic LIGHT tuner, so that's something I guess. Quilla and Inti's problem used to be how hard it is to set them up, since both of them need specific tuners (that's not even good), and you need to synch both first before you can loop. Granted, their loop is also underwhelming with the current day standard but yeah. This trades the slowness of Quilla-Inti with reliability, but it limits how much you can loop, while also limiting your ED slot severely. They're optimal if run at 3s each, which makes them well...kinda restricting when you still want to run options and stuffs.
