DNA Splicers

I had seen some of the Black/White legendary Pokemon cards made on here and decided to make a special card to fuse Reshiram or Zekrom with Kyurem (Absofusion in B/W 2). I did look at the stats of those cards and made assumptions which affected how the card's final effect would turn out. Since they are all powerful, I added a delay effect so the wielder doesn't gain any freebies.

Effect: Tribute 1 "Reshiram" or "Zekrom" monster + 1 "Kyurem" monster you control. Special Summon one "Black Kyurem" or "White Kyurem" monster in Attack position. Its effects are negated and it cannot declare an attack until your next turn.

I did see the cards you made, they were the driving force behind me making this card, I will most likely end up creating the two fused dragons but maybe not the base forme of them simply because they already exist. But you are right, I should have all the cards mentioned in the effect but I just don't want to end up creating them then finding out that someone already did so, then intellectual property issues arise. I honestly thought Advanced Design was more Yu-Gi-Oh specific? Or is it just cards that follow Konami's rules and are almost perfectly symmetrical with how any other realistic Yu-Gi-Oh card operates?

Advanced is for stuff designed to work in the current competitive state (yeah, with staples, metagame and whatever).

Casual is for you to design stuff, and NOT worry about it (meaning you have a bit more freedom to design stuff based on character powers and stuff).

You can make your own versions of the cards; your take will likely differ from what I did.

There is no problem with creating a different version of a card that someone already created. For nearly every Pokemon, there's at least 3 members having created cards based on them - sometimes with the same name. I believe someone else has also done DNA Splicers.

The only thing we never consider when reviewing cards is the interactions with other members' custom cards, unless the interactions were intended.
