Ultra Combo
I was tampering around with the idea of being able to fight on competitively in a Duel despite having 0 Life Points and I decided to create Re-Animation. Basically you special summon 1 monster from the graveyard, equip it with this card and you cannot lose the duel until the equipped monster is destroyed. I know it will probably be a useless card and even unfair for the opponent but I think the idea could be interesting. Effect suggestions and error notifications welcome. Effect: You can only activate 1 "Re-Animation" per Duel. When you have 1000 Life Points or less and your opponent activates a card or effect that would inflict damage to you: Send all cards you control to the Graveyard, reduce your Life Points to 0 and Special Summon 1 monster from your hand or Graveyard. You do not lose the Duel, but cannot Summon monsters or activate effects after this card's activation. The Summoned monster can only be destroyed by battle, if the monster is destroyed, destroy this card. If you reduce your opponent's Life Points to zero while this card is face-up on the field, you win the Duel.
Trebuchet MS
By default, you win by having the opponent's LP at 0, because they lost and you haven't. There are a couple of issues with this card - usually when your LP hits 0, you lose the game then and there without even having the chance of activating a card. Normally you'd want to activate such a card preemptively, before you take the damage. The other issue is that such preemptive effects are seen on cards with Spell Speeds 2 or higher. A simple Equip Spell works a little too slow for your intended effect. I'd recommend changing it to a Continuous Trap like Call of the Haunted. You need not state the condition for loss. Once this card is no longer face-up on the field, its effect that prevents you from losing is gone, and unless you gained some LP to get yourself out of 0 you'd lose immediately. Ultra Combo
Effect changed, thanks for the feedback. The idea is that this card doesn't negate the attack so you are technically at 0 life points but if you keep this card face up on the field for enough time to reduce your opponent's life points to zero then you win. I understand that the cards in the first post should be edited for updates, I honestly never realised that so that's how I'll do updates from now on. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I don't know much and usually don't post here but there's a glaring issue that I may have noticed beyond what's said above.First this might be me not knowing the game but when you say send all cards you control to grave is that hand and field?Anyway besides that. There's plenty of cards that have effects that pop when they go to the grave, so I can see that being a bit of an issue. The "negative" to this card could easily be a positive.Though since it's just when an attack is declared and not effect damage, and it's easily stopped/blocked/destroyed, and doesn't stop them from attacking again with their next monster...probably won't see much use from what I can tell. Dang it's been a while since I've been here dunno if I'm right at all.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
First this might be me not knowing the game but when you say send all cards you control to grave is that hand and field? It's just the field, Cow.Unless a card says "in your hand", it's just whatever you have on your field at the time of activation. Trebuchet MS
Oh, I forgot to mention, the card needs to mention "You do not lose the Duel due to having 0 LP" to actually function. What doesn't need to be mentioned is things like "When this card leaves the field, you lose the Duel".
