Normal Trap Card

 

When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Change all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls to face-up Defense Position, and if you do, gain LP equal to the monster's highest ATK of those monsters.

 

 

Storming Mirror Force (wind), Blazing Mirror Force (fire), Sandstorm Mirror Force (earth) and finally the last one, Torrential Mirror Force (water). I find the card fair enough since it gives you an amount of LP but keeps opponent's monsters alive.

Too fair (really bad) in my opinion, the threat still on the field and the only thing it does is gain LP (it doesnt matter how much lp are is not worthy), a player would rather give his LP to get rid of things

It's effective for turning high attack monsters to their weak defense forms, such as Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer, making them destroyable. My question is when the monsters are changed to defense position, can the opponent declare another attack?

Unless they have an effect that would permit them to attack in Defense Position afterwards (see Superheavy Samurais and other stuff), then no, the opponent would not get another attack that turn.

By that logic, this card won't work too well against Superheavies (assuming they become relevant in the coming days), but otherwise yeah, you'd probably want to use normal Mirror Force to blow the opponent up.

 

Suppose you can use this for quick LP restoration if you really need it, or use original RDA to blow up all of your opponent's 'mons in one shot (if Scarlight isn't enough for whatever reason [which isn't much reason to use original over Scar]). But I digress a bit on this. 

 

Or yes, just weaken the opponent up for piercing damage and other battle destruction, but yeah that's about it.

 

Outclassed by its counterparts, but suppose it has a niche purpose for what it does.
