Name: Drew (duh)

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Race: Catboy (Also duh)

 

First we will go over the “catboy" thing. It’s not the official term, but the most commonly used name for the race. They have sharp fangs, tails, furry ears, and with retractable claws.

Drew in particular is a small grey catboy. With extra fluffy hair, sort of a mini-afro, which he takes care to keep clean and in good shape, and bright green eyes that flash when hit by light.

He’s only 5 foot 2 and quite slim, with a tendency to wear baggy shirts and pants with lots and lots and lots of pockets. Has a monocle for some inane reason.

 

Drew is a passionate young man, extremely so. When you get him on certain topics, or in a certain mood, he’ll talk your ear off. Growing more and more passionate until he’s practically screaming it for the world to hear. He doesn’t particularly like this, as he tries to be a more mild mannered and composed person. He’s able to talk normally but has a tendency to speak in overly polite and formal ways to try and make up for and hold back the aforementioned passion.

He doesn’t like to do anything without a lot of research and planning, and can often be seen scouring the Internet for all the information about any given subject he can.

Completely obsessed with technology, especially older tech. The more outdated the better. And he’s started a collection that he hordes greedily and is very careful with. He’s proud of this, and it’s the biggest topic that will get him to willingly express himself passionately.

Fairly dorky, yet social. Drew is perfectly capable of talking to people and often is that one friend who cracks the dumbest jokes that can still manage to bring a smile to your face.

 

Drew’s backstory is actually quite tame....on the surface. He was born as the oldest child, and helped his parents, who worked for the government and were often busy, raise his younger siblings. Once he got old enough he took a job at an antique shop, where he learned his love of old tech. The old man who owned it didn’t seem to know much about technology, and thus was quite happy to discover that Drew was interested in learning about it. He still works there, and has made several friends along the way, including his co-worker, Art.

However when you dig a little deeper you find his life is actually full of wonder and mystery. For cat-people are a race from a different world, perhaps even a different dimension. He knows not how his family came to this world, and in fact his father told him that they have been here for several generations. They are forced to conceal their most obvious cat-like traits, with magic that was passed down in their family. This magic, too, is unknown where it comes from, just that it works.

However there seems to be a man, calling himself Trench, who seems to suspect something. His parents are investigating the man. A strange person who showed up out of the blue and made vague threats of revealing their hidden nature. Thus far nothing came of it, and as Trench never came to Drew directly, he believes himself safe for now.

Name: Sadie

Gender: Female

Age: Thousands of years

Race: Angel

 

Sadie, like all angels, have a pair of large wings on her back. However hers are different in that they are silver in color, as opposed to white. Her hair, however, IS white. Snowy, silky, and wavy, reaching just past her shoulders, it seems to glow when struck by light. Her eyes are a startlingly bright gold. She stands tall at five foot ten and is generally dressed in a toga-like dress.

 

She has been around for many, many, years, and has always lived in the Celestial Realm. From her birth she was raised for a single purpose...To destroy the world when the time came. Sadie is what is referred to as the "Armageddon Angel'. One who would reset all life on the world if it is deemed necessary. And because of this she was generally kept away from the other Angels, as to not influence her thoughts on her mission. She is generally regarded with respect, but also some measure of disgust. For taking lives on such a grand scale goes against all the morals installed into every young Angel. She doesn't seem to mind this, on the surface, but it has colored her personality greatly. She spends much time learning about the world, and the people on it, and even more time observing and searching for any signs that her job must be done.

 

Unsurprisingly, Sadie is a bit of a gloomy girl. She is quite pessimistic and sees any failure as a major set back. It's hard to break her out of her negative feelings when she gets like this. And since many avoid her, she can often get stuck in a bad mood for months at a time. She longs for interaction, but knows that she isn't meant to be around others. She doesn't feel bitter about her task, she knows its necessary, but she does often think about trying to do more with her life. She is frustrated often about her own skills, thinking she's not strong enough for her task. And also believing that her requests for another task to undertake, while waiting for the possibility of having to fulfill this one, are being denied because she's not good enough. Therefore she's extremely intent on growing in strength, not realizing that the more power she gains, the more she loses herself. She's begun to have violent thoughts, and feelings, that she hadn't had before. This worries her somewhat but it's changing so slowly she's begun to accept it as what is meant to be.

 

Sadie has the average Angel abilities of healing, and smiting, magic. As well as skill with the spear. But she harbors an intense power inside, able to destroy cities in moments once it becomes unlocked.

It is never birdie. Just moving slowly, because I'm not writing... 10? something like that, 10 characters. Seeing as at a low estimate that'd be 5000 words for a stupid Misc topic XD

You could say it's...Undying

 

Doesn't matter. I'm not really basing these off the people in question, intentionally. Just going with what feels right.

Honestly I'm mainly posting to get to see when updates happen. This was one of the cooler "Post and I'll" threads from the trend, so I like seein' what happens here. :'P

Sounds interesting.

Name: James

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Race: Fish-Man

 

The race of Fish-Man is a rare breed. They're called Fish-Man specifically because almost every one of their race is male, and they rely on Merfolk to procreate and continue their species. They are large, with powerful arms, ideal for swimming, and tiny tiny legs that dangle uselessly. They have scaled skin, ranging from bright red to dark blue, and huge mouths without any teeth. Though they're called Fish they have different aquatic traits. Such as a frog-like tongue. They don't blink, but instead have a film that covers their eyes when needed.

James in particular is smaller than most, only 6 feet tall, whereas most are 8 feet. His scales are dark blue on top and bright, bright, blue on bottom. His scales here actually glow faintly, giving light.

 

James is aggressive seeming, but is not actually confrontational. He just is used to not being noticed by his people due to his side so he's learned to speak loudly and occasionally repeating himself until someone responds. He's a good guy, and seems to want to do positive things for the world. However he gets distracted really easily, and will drop everything to pursue his hobby of rock collecting. James isn't very clean, and has been found literally sleeping in mud before. He seems to get amusement out of the looks that people give him about it. In fact, one of the reasons he enjoys talking with other races is how uncomfortable or awkward they tend to be with someone of a race they don't know much about. He tends to make up various facts about his own race to tell others.

James has a bit of an inferiority complex, and strangely seems to think of himself as small even when he is larger than many humans.

 

James was a prince, but a shrimp prince. His parents both tried to raise him with love but his size certainly bothered them. Thus when, two years later, his brother was born...they were delighted to find he was a large specimen. And thus began James's journey as the "lesser brother". His younger sibling was heaped praise and love onto while James himself was given just what he needed to be healthy. James didn't hate his brother for this, though. He respected his brother and secretly thought he deserved this. But eventually he grew tired of the looks of pity and decided to go to the human world to try and make a name for himself there. It was a struggle, as he had to learn how to walk on his knuckles, seeing as his legs were basically useless. But it was a challenge he was more than willing to take unto himself.

 

His strength is massive, and he has the ability to launch blobs of mud out of his mouth. However he must replenish it regularly. These blobs can harden into near rock-hardness at will and James is experimenting with controlling it better.

Decided to be more silly with this one.

Name: Snailoon

Gender: Male

Age: Created 7 years ago

Race: Magcargo...no wait, Drifloon. Um...

 

When describing the odd creature that is Snailoon, you have to be careful not to hit yourself in confusion. They have a blobby body, which resembles purple lava, and yet is cool to the touch and extremely rubbery. Their face has a strange x across it, and it's theorized that it's some kind of filter that allows Snailoon to breath in any situation. Underwater, in space, underground, in a smoky area, etc. Its shell is hard, but has soft blue streaks that seem to be semi-liquid. It's thought some kind of ectoplasm is inside of this shell, which Snailoon can feed on in emergency.

 

Snailoon is a one of a kind creation. Created by a mad scientist with a love for the strange and bizarre side of Pokemon. They couldn't stand to see their creation locked up all the time, and believed that more people should see its glory, but didn't want to travel the world. And so, after a year of training and teaching, he released his creation into the world, with a device to record their interactions.

 

Snailoon is a very friendly and curious creature. They like to explore and often end up in situations where they explored places they shouldn't have. Love to give cuddles, but feels very sad and guilty that most people tend to react badly to their attempts to cuddle. It doesn't help that their skin produces a slime that can numb a person. When they accidentally cause a person to go numb they will stick around to protect them until they are fine again, no matter what the person says to them. They believe that if they continue to be kind and friendly they'll eventually be accepted. Has a slight abandonment complex and struggles with believing that their creator didn't release them because of something they did. And thus they became determined to show the world their skills and usefulness.

 

Snailoon can use fire type attacks, however they are converted to ghost attacks as well as ghost and rock type attacks. They are a powerful special attacker, with surprising amount of HP and an ability that increases their speed as they lose health. However they have a secondary ability that also causes burns caused by their attacks to slow the enemy, as opposed to lowering their attack.
