Bringerofcake
Rank-Down-Magic Split ForceNormal SpellTarget 1 Rank 2 or higher Xyz Monster you control; Xyz Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 monster with the same Attribute as that monster you control but half its Rank (rounded down), by using that target on the field and any Xyz Materials it has as the Xyz Material. You cannot activate "Rank-Up-Magic" cards during the turn you activated this card. You can only activate 1 "Rank-Down-Magic Split Force" per turn. I figure, since Soul Shave Force is a thing, that similar logic could apply the opposite direction. There's probably a hilarious application here, considering you can go from rank 4 to 2, 3 to 1, etc.
Dova
It's nice to see another RDM. Quickly text wise: No RUM Xyz Summons. The only way to Xyz Summon is the ordinary way. All RUM cards state "Special Summon" with "(This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon.)" due to the fact that what you are doing is NOT Xyz Summoning. The card could be rephrased other ways too, but let's move on. Make sure the Xyz monster you target has a Rank, or else....Idk what might happen, but most cards which involve something of that sort check beforehand. The funny thing is you can activate that RDM, although how you would actually use it is beyond me. Potential use-wise? To be honest, it depends on the deck, although I see use for easy Generics in Rank 8 decks.
Bringerofcake
The logic of the OCG here:What I wanted to happen was something like what happened to polymerization and cards like it, that replaced the 'treated as a fusion summon' clause with 'Fusion summon a monster etc'. I honestly don't see a difference between the two phrases and I applied similar logic here. Also, as far as I know, only Xyz monsters have Ranks, and until other monsters exist with Ranks I think that part of the effect is valid. You do make a point about Rank 1 monsters, I'll fix that. Dova
I was referring to Xyz monsters without Ranks...i.e. Number F0.
