Ryusei the Morning Star
I should clarify, I think first-world countries/Western countries are generally against the "forcing/brainwashing kids into doing things" kind of thing. The whole point of various laws in said countries are to try and ensure rights/safety/etc for said kids.So wouldn't doing this kind of thing sort of be entirely contradictory? What is college if not being paid to be brainwashed? It happens regardless, diff is instead of being brainwashed to love PC culture, you're washed to love the country that give you a life

VCR_CAT
I think I sum up a lot of arguments on this thread with two words. *Citation needed
epicmemesbro
Another way of solving this issue is closing the wage gap. Once people can actually afford a decent living there will be no excuse.
.Rai
Another way of solving this issue is closing the wage gap. Once people can actually afford a decent living there will be no excuse. Treating having a child as a solely economic issue for a person is absolutely ridiculous. Ridiculous.
Halubaris Maphotika
I don't pity a technical living parasite that has been terminated by its host. I realize that argument can be twisted in different directions so I clarify I just mean from a body standpoint and not a standard of living standpoint. If the mother chooses to be rid of it, so be it. That unborn child will be none the wiser honestly.

Some make a similar argument about the elderly, that doesn't justify the means. they can at least make the effort to restrict abortions to up to a week or two. By then one will find out they are pregnant. also I'd like to clarify this is not from a theological standpoint, intact there are several non religious pro life groups. People may make that argument but I disagree nevertheless. There are figurative parasites, and literal parasites. Unborn babies are literal. Hence where I stand. Sethera
I know that my high school definitely didn't stint on highlighting the atrocities our country committed, but then again I was taking AP classes. Still, I think they were teaching the same thing in the regular classes. But I remember once I entered college that there were a few people who had no idea on stuff like banana republics. I don't think that's due to a conspiracy or brainwashing though, but more just because of varying qualities of education.
