Voices

Guess I never thought about it, but I definitely do that, ever since I joined actually. If I know who someone is, they'll usually "develop" their own voice that I'll hear whenever they post.

The other voice thread also stood out to me. So if I heard your voice there, I've probably "assigned" it to whatever posts I read from you.

Just as a sidenote, I did post a video AMA once so if you can find it, you get an idea of how I sound like (roughly).

But otherwise, I don't really assign voices to posts, unless I know how you sound like [which applies to a few of you] or know how you post (after a while, your post styles become uniform).

I typically assign the generic voice in my head to read things, though I do have generic male and female voices when things like context are applied.

However, if a person is heavily associated with certain characters and such (like YCM posts with a person's profile pic and display name), then the voice of the character comes into play.
