Are they just trying to make Blackfeather Dragon remotely usable or something? Because this isn't the best way to do it. I do like the Level modification effect, but it does seem a bit strange. IQuitDolphin Posted January 7, 2016 Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 The fact that this is another high ATK Blackwing should be more than enough to make this viable; Shura is losing ground with Pendulum Monsters, and Kris and Bora aren't enough to hold down the fort. Progenitor Posted January 7, 2016 Author Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 The main issue here is that BW like to special summon themselves, yet don't have many monsters that special summon other monsters. I feel like this can lead into some shenanigans however: Summon Blizzard, grab This, Change level, drop Bora or whatever, make Nothung, NS and search, etc. So it DOES have a few applications I feel, especially in the sense of extending large syncro pushes. However it's a card that is almost completely useless outside of those niche situations, so I personally wouldn't run too many, but would at least consider giving 1 or 2 a shot. Blake Posted January 7, 2016 Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 It may actually be a good generic card at some point. It's a Level 3/4/5 tuner on its OWN, and it's searchable by Force Strix. That's really not shabby. There aren't many other good targets for Strix atm, but it's a similar matter to King of the Feral Imps, and this is versatile af and can be Pendulum Summoned. What a joke, konami better give BW the best stuff ever later on. Edit: Oh my god the anime effect of this is absolutely atrocious, this is like 200% buffed compared to it.
