Pay 1000 Life Points; randomly select 1 card in your opponents hand and discard that card.

 

 

Literally and anti-upstart at this point. You're not gaining any new information about the opponent's hand, and it's simplifying the game down to starting with 1 card less on both sides. Might honestly be worse in power than upstart except for those times when your opponent has a fewer number of cards in their hand

It's not bad (at least it's not Delinquent Duo). I don't actually see that much harm to anyone but the user. But who knows? You might discard a Pendulum Card or Odd-Eyes Fusion, or something else crucial.

Inherently not fair, its kinda like making omega the synchro, but this is easier to do. You can gain advantage during your turn, making the plus 0 not so black and white.

The card kind of goes hand in hand if Pot of Greed where to come off the list, its a free plus 1 so everyone is going to play it and you would be daft not to.

 

Its the same principal with Confiscation, it gives you complete knowledge of what your opponent is playing before they even play, the 1000 cost is so mere that everyone would play it and that is its problem

Personally.  I wouldn't play it.  I don't like messing with my LP too much.
