razzy
Every since i started played Kristya has been one of my favorites so i decided to make my own archetype based on her? You may be asking yourselves "archetype" why isn't this in multiplies? Well i wanted to get some feedback here first before putting too must work into it. When this card is Normal Summon or Flipped Faced-up: You target up to Set 2 Spell/Tarps or cards up to 2 face-up cards on the field; shuffle them into the Deck. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You shuffle one Light Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard into Deck or send 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to the Deck to the Graveyard. ****scroll down for the updated version***
Azuriena
Its spin effect is ridiculous, considering it's a Level 3 monster. It shouldn't even be able to spin 1 at no cost. If this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Target up to 2 face-up cards on the field, or up to 2 Set Spell/Trap Cards on the field; shuffle them into the Deck. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Shuffle 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard into the Deck, or send 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. If this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Target up to 2 face-up cards on the field, or up to 2 Set Spell/Trap Cards on the field; shuffle them into the Deck. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Activate 1 of these effects.• Target 1 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster in your Graveyard; shuffle it into the Deck.• Send 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. Flash Flyer - Sakura
I'd have to agree with the above member about the spin; that's something reserved for boss monsters, but not for a Level 3 (especially when it bounces 2). Although, it's forced so you either have to bounce your own cards back if opponent's stuff cannot be targeted (or they have nothing you can bounce on their end). Personally, I'd just remove the bounce altogether for this card and stick with the other stuff; that one helps fuel Kristya but is far more fair. Save the bouncing stuff for a stronger monster (which I assume you will have later on).
razzy
Thanks for the feedback. I thought having to choose between either face-up or set would help balance it. But (no pun intended) you've seen me the light. minor up date still not sure if the 2 targeting is a lot, maybe prevent it from it attacking that turn? When this card is Normal Summon or Flipped Faced-up: You target up to 2 face-up Spell/Tarps or set Spell/Trap cards on the field; destroy them. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You shuffle one Light Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard into Deck or send 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to the Deck to the Graveyard. Kupoin
I'd probably say... When this card is flipped face-up, target 1 Spell/Trap card on your opponent's side of the field; shuffle that target in to the Deck. You can only activate this effect of "Kristya the Raphella" once per turn, and only once that turn. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard during the turn it was flipped face-up: Shuffle one LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard in to the Deck, OR; send 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. ... This one's a little better, 'cause targeting 2 S/Ts without cost is a little much, considering that's 0.5 cards less than half of your opponent's total S/T zones. If being able to multi-target for spinning had some sort of activation restriction (e.g.; "If you control a face-up [insert Card Name Here], you can target up to 2 Spell/Trap cards on your opponent's side of the field, instead.") or even a cost (discarding, life points, that sort of thing) it'd be fine, though personally I'd probably do something like... When this card is flipped face-up, target 1 Spell/Trap card on your opponent's side of the field; shuffle that target in to the Deck. If you have 3 or more Level 3 LIGHT Fairy-Type monsters in your Graveyard, you can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, instead. You can only activate this effect of "Kristya the Raphella" once per turn, and only once that turn. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard during the turn it was flipped face-up: Shuffle one LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard in to the Deck, OR; send 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. ... I don't know what effect gimmick the rest of the set is using, but judging by this card's effect and listed stats, I think the above effect might compliment it a little better. Might be overpowered with just 3 if the archetype revolves largely around discarding Level 3 LIGHT Fairy-Type monsters. If not, then you could probably change the Stat requirement to a Name requirement (like "If you have 3 or more "Raphella" monsters in your Graveyard..."). Just my two cents. Not sure if I can post reviews yet. I didn't see any mention of that anywhere in the rules...
