Dragon Tamer Melissa

Level 4 | WIND | Warrior | Effect

1600/1000

When this card is normal summoned, you can send 1 Warrior-Type monster from your hand to the graveyard; Special summon 1 Guard Dragon Token (Level 1 FIRE Dragon 0 ATK/ 0 DEF) to your side of the field in face-up Attack position. The token's level is equal to the sent monster's level, additionally, its ATK becomes 400 ATK X Its current level. When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard; Special summon 1 Warrior-Type or Dragon-Type monster from your Deck to your side of the field with an equal or lower level than the monster with the lowest ATK on the field (if any).

A little clunky. I'm not certain which Deck can effectively run this card.

Taking the corrections already suggested up there and applying them gives me this.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can send 1 Warrior-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Guard Dragon Token" ( FIRE/ Dragon-Type/ ? ATK/ 0 DEF)  in Attack Position. The token's Level is equal to the sent monster's Level, and its ATK is equal to its current Level x 400. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 Warrior-Type or Dragon-Type monster from your Deck whose Level is equal to or lower than the monster with the lowest ATK on the field (if any).

I like seeing cards that are generic in their use, like something you'd be able to pull out from a Battle Pack and use to some extent.

I think the token's position should be optional rather than stated to always appear in Attack Position, it'd shorten the text and improve a bit on the card's use.

Casually speaking, I can see what the combos could be:
-Drop A/D Changer, Necro Gardna, Shield Warrior, or Tazuke Knight, and get a somewhat weak token but setup a Graveyard effect.

-Drop a Gate Guardian for a colossal 4400 ATK Level 11 token. Though any Level 7+ Warrior will give you a respectable 2800+ ATK beater.

-Esper Star Spearrow is about the best heavy target, being a self-revived 3000 ATK beater that shields others from targets and battle, and gives you a 4000 ATK token, plus, the the Dragon Tamer gets destroyed, the token will make her go for Red Eyes Darkness Metal from the deck, and if you pull off a self-destruction combo like with Offerings to the Doomed, you'll pretty much guarantee the huge beater token is the lowest (and only) ATK out there.

It'd be fun to design a deck around it.

I'll be honest with you... I didn't even think so far off XD, but hey, it's good that I'm getting better, well, just a tiny little minuscle bit, at makiing useful cards. I should give myself a pat in the back... maybe not.
