IQuitDolphin
Assistant MonkLEVEL 4 | DARK | Spellcaster | Effect1600/800----If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Monk" card: Special Summon 1 "Monk" monster from your Deck, but its effects are negated this turn. Monsters you control, except "Monk" monsters, are unaffected by other monster effects. You can only control 1 "Assistant Monk". Yeah, it's an archetype now, deal with it. dustdevil9
Summoner Monk would become an instant 3 card xyz if you tech this in... Yeah lol. So yeah I like the card seems balanced, would love to see more Monk cards
Snatch Steal
Yeesh. A 2-card 3 Material frightens me. Remember Shock Master?Keep in mind that Summoner Monk can also be Pendulum Summoned. Not to be rude, but the thought of this card is cancerous. Not to mention it renders your monks invulnerable to Torrential, needle ceiling, etc. That's just me, though.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Take into consideration that Shock is still banned in TCG (I am aware OCG has it, but default for this section is generally the TCG lists). Also, card renders everything BESIDES "Monks" invulnerable to monster effects. I suppose it's nice for blocking common monster removal like Dark Destroyer / Castel and so forth. Also taking into consideration that while Ptolemaeus got hit with the adjusted format list, I am not really keen on an instant 3-mat Xyz enabler (even with two of the problematic ones gone from this format), even though the only other monster that can be SS'd at present other than this is another Summoner / it's pretty much Xyz fodder by then.
