Personality: A seeker of justice, J.D. shows passes judgement with no bias. He is stern and all seriousness, not one to crack a joke. His demeanor is also very business-like and straight forward. He takes most things spoken literally, and many jokes fly over his head. He represents justice in it truest form. An eye for an eye, an ear for an ear, and a life for a life. Unfortunately, his indignation is a rather negative flaw on this Archangel, and he shows no mercy when purging evil. This causes humans to both venerate and fear him, as a single mistake could lead to the Archangle exacting justice upon them.

 

Bio: Everything has an opposite. Where there is up, there is down. Where there is left, there is right. Where there is right, there is wrong. From the beginning, humans have always found how to work the system to create injustice. From this spawned demons. But where there is a dark tunnel, there is a light at the end. J.D. was created by the Law of Opposites, to counteract the injustice. Becoming one of the many angels of the high heavens, J.D.'s sole purpose in existence is to pass his judgement. Usually, it is through karma. Very rarely did he actual manifest himself, however many scriptures have been written about him, describing him arriving in a glorious flash of light, before striking down the most wicked of people. 

 

However, as times become more troubled, J.D. has began to find himself appearing more and more in the realm of mortals. In his honor, many Lux Priests have worked on building him a temple in his honor, where he now resides. It has become an official court, where the most wicked of people are taken for punishment. J.D. has become a figure of justice, but as his number of executions increase, the number of scared people also increase. Now, many people wish him to return to the high heavens, leaving J.D. to make an ultimatum; Continue delivering justice, or return to the high heavens once again.

But I mean, it seems like fun, so imna mimic his thread about making characters. They wont be nearly as good, but I mean why not?

It would help if I actually knew any of the stuff myself but.

 

Name: Riva

Gender: Female

Age: "I'm 18 and you can't tell me otherwise"

Race: Half-Ghost

 

Now the first we need to understand with Riva is how she came to be. Half ghost? What even is that? Well when Riva turned 18, she blew out her candles to the wish of "I wish I never got any older". This wish was overheard by a trickster spirit who could only act if a human made a wish in their presence. Thus as soon as she made this wish, a horrible "accident" occurred. The floor gave out from under her and Riva plummeted to the apartment below her, being impaled by wood and dying.

 

However this trickster was being hunted by a rather incompetent Guardian Angel, who attempted to reverse the damage and bring Riva back to life. They failed to bring them totally back, and instead Riva now lives a half-existence. Her body is translucent and incorporeal. Though she can still feel a dulled pain if struck. Plus she never ages. However she cannot turn invisible like other ghosts can, and she is still affected by some of the rules of reality. She can't walk through walls and she needs to have stairs to travel up floors.

 

Riva has curly black hair and brown eyes, and is always seen wearing the clothing she died in. That is to say a really baggy hoodie and shorts, no shoes.

 

She's a very self-conscious person, and has grown more and more worried about how she appears to others. She's terrified by the idea of getting older, weaker, and (in her mind) uglier. Because she feels that once that happens people won't want anything to do with her and they'd abandon her. As a half-ghost she has a whole host of new worries. Including but not limited to worried that people won't like the shade of nail polish she's stuck with potentially forever. She's absolutely obsessed with games and anime because, in the past, it let her escape her inevitable fate, but nowadays it's mostly to keep her mind off her new state of being.

On the subject of ghost-hood, Riva very stubbornly refuses to acknowledge anything's wrong. She loves the perks it has and tends to flaunt them, but whenever any negative side to it is pointed out she gets defensive and nervous.

Having been a half-ghost for 10 years has shown her that she likely has no chance at a normal life but she is naturally a hopeful girl, one who is determined that she'll find someone to help her, or failing that someone who will accept her for what she is now.

Has a huge playful streak, when she's feeling up to it, and often tries to pull off tricks and jokes. Her humor can be considered odd to others and she's gotten many weird looks at her random and sometimes frightening "jokes". Such as threats of possession and the like. Though on the flip-side she can also be bitingly sarcastic when feeling defensive.

 

Riva has the ability to stall time for brief moments, in a sense. When she touches an object or person she can stop their movement entirely for a short period of time.

If her body suffers enough damage she goes into a kind of stasis where she's unable to do anything.

He works very hard to support his family, and believes he knows whats best for the household. He has an outlook on life that makes him seem rather misogynistic, as he feels its his job to work while his wife should stay at home and care for the house. However, he is caring to his family. When hanging with some of his friends, he tends to be a bit arrogant and has a habit of showing off, but he is still fun to be around all the same.

 

Bio: Jerry grew up in an alternate universe, where Pig-men were the standard for human. He grew up in a rather bland environment. He was a star basketball player, and managed to achieve valedictorian of his highschool. He got a full ride to Porkvard, a prestigious Ivy leave college, for his academics and athleticism. He went to lawschool, but dropped out since it wasn't his passion. Instead, he pursued a job in engineering. Eventually, he was promoted to project manager of his business. It was in his early 30s he met his darling wife, Bernadette. He settled down, and had 2 children, Pepper and Jorge. Now, he works most of the day, and comes home to his family. A comfortable life, and the American Dream.
