mr. waifu
I can assure you that you will like this. It is really nothing complicated; It is just monsters with ranks, like Xyz. I will give you an example: Quick-Stance WarriorRank 4DARK1800 / 0Warrior / Flip / EffectFLIP: All monsters on the field lose ATK and DEF equal to their level x100. So yeah you get the point. Rank monsters are immune to effects that affect monsters with ranks, while rank monsters usually are affected by cards that affect Xyz. Plz tell me what you thought of this! 0PxPz0
interesting concept but what would the point really be?
mr. waifu
Nothing. It is just something that I have thought of.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
If you design a new mechanic for the game, it should actually do something useful. In this case, it's basically a Flip version of Al'Lumiraj that only applies once, and is unable to be used for Xyz Material (and really only evades its own effect and some other small things). There really isn't much use for this card otherwise to be honest.
ChampionZero
Well wait, wait, what about Synchro Monsters? Ranks are place on the opposite side of the card from Levels, like Negative Levels. Say you tune a monster with a Rank with a monster that has a higher Level, you can get a Synchro Monster with a lower level than the monster with a Level. Valkhon
Then you can create Synchros with Ranks that require some (or only) Rank Materials! Well, there's not really a point in introducing this. Its meaning is only to force some builds (a subtype of Synchros with proper Materials). Nothing that makes sense in the long run.
