Aesirson
Here we can discuss the new Lightsworn monsters coming out in LoDT. The Lightsworn are the Lightlords in english (if you are to belive wannaduel.com) I have build a deck build around these cards (with japanese cards) and it turned out to be very usefull cards (if you run 60 cards that is...) CrabHelmet
Lightlord decks don't need 60 cards; they work with 40. Lightsworn is a terrible name.
pizzaman
Why the heck did the TCG change the name...?You don't need 60 in a Lightlord deck. 40 is fine. You'll just win faster with a 40 card deck. On a related note, Gragonis is not quite necessary in a Lightlord deck. Also, Raikou has his place outside of Lightlords too, and is kinda like an unlimited Card Gunner (though it's not a 1900 beatstick, can't draw etc.)
Orochi
once again the "we are afraid of parents associations" UDE guys did it... why they changed the name?? sometimes i think it's a compulsion of those guys... if they don't censor/change something they don't sleep that night... CrabHelmet
First Psychic monsters, and now Raikou. Yugimonz = Pokeymonz
Aesirson
Raikou is really an Archer from Japan, I think they named Hunter Raikou after him, not the Pokémon. And Psychic, well, why throwing in alot of new types in Duelist Genesis, I think it's weird... I meant 50 cards, but I think 40 cards work well to. 80% of all wins I made with this deck was because of Dragon Gragonis, so Im not removing the 2 I got, and the other 20 was because of Judgment Dragon. I also think Lightlords was a better name...

ShinobiDark72
Lightsworn is a terrible name. 1) Thats as true as the hands I'm using to type. 2) I'm going to be building a Lightlord deck 3) The official website has a Judgment Dragon pic on the sneak preview page, as far as I can tell, the lettering is silver, not gold.(Damned card translations, making Ultras from the Japanese sets into secrets) Thats about it. Phantom Roxas
I think it's better to have a big Lightlord deck. They're Self-Deck Destruction monsters, so you should have more card so you don't lose in a deck-out.

The Dark One
The Lightlords seem really good to me. Judgement Dragon = Thematic CED. Not good. We want to ban Norleras, but he's only playable with PoC. This guy's ridiculously easy to summon. (Well, he's actually closer to Demise/Levia Dragon) I'm really planning on making a Lightlord deck. I hope they all stay as commons, though knowing UDE, every single one of them will be a Super or higher. And Lightsworn's not that bad of a name, though I do prefer Lightlord. Still, there's only 1 Male human in the whole set. 2 are wolves, the rest are female. Lightlord wouldn't exactly fit, now would it.
Aesirson
Judgment Dragon is a great card. I got 2 of him in my deck. I think the name Lightlord was better, but The Dark One is right, theres only 1-2 that is male (Im not sure if Paladin Jean is going to be translated as Joan or John). I don't think Lightsworn is a so bad name.

Quoted for truth. And even if he did, he's just a 2100 ATK beatstick that's a dead draw if he's in your hand. Penguin Knight only works if it's sent from your deck to the graveyard by your opponent's card effect. Unless the opponent runs mill, it won't work. And even if the opponent does run mill, you lose your graveyard, which is very bad; you need 4 different Lightlords in the graveyard for Judgment Dragoon. The Worst Card Name Change Ever...for now. Phantom Roxas
The "Lightsworn" kill your own deck if you're the one using them. That's pretty bad, and only three of them benefit from that weakness.

Phantom Roxas
Card Trooper has a .5% chance of working in a Lightsworn Deck, which should center on cards that work in the graveyard.
