towitori
2 Level 7 MonstersWhen this card is Xyz Summoned: You can discard up to 3 cards from your hand; return cards on the field equal to the number of cards you discarded. During either player's End Phase, if a card was discarded this turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck or Graveyard whose Level is equal to the number of cards that was discarded. You can only use this effect of "Crimson Naga" once per turn. I don't know if it should be if a card(s) or its fine as it is? >.<
Trebuchet MS
Considering that, on average, about 1-2 discards are made per turn in total, you'd only be putting out Level 1s and 2s, so you're not getting very good mileage out of this. Make the Summon criteria match another property, or change the rewards this card gives.
Grand Magus
Does Mermail/Atlantean need more support? Did they removal that doesn't target, triggers Atlanteans, and can summon monsters from their deck? The main use of this card would be in the deck. Any other R7 deck would main a single copy just to get over things that can't be targeted. It also counts total discards, not just it's own, it can end up summoning high level monsters, because Megalo and Teus discard. Is discarding supposed to make this card balanced? Did we learn nothing from Brionac? I fear someone will find some FTK/OTK loop with this because it can return your own cards to the hand, and because it doesn't have hard OTP on it's first effect. It's just helps Mermail/Atlantean too much.
The Nyx Avatar
This does look like something Mermailtean could use. I can't really think of any other Deck that can use this. Except maybe Odd-Eyes builds. Though, where does it return the cards to? The hand? The Deck?
