A more appropriate wording would probably be something like this:

 

You can reveal this card in your hand; Special Summon this card, then Xyz Summon 1 appropriate Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, by using monsters you control as Xyz Material, including this card. You can only use this effect of "Xyz Magician" once per turn. If this card as an Xyz Material would be detach to activate an Xyz Monster's effect: Banish it instead of sending it to the Graveyard

Champion and Progenitor, keep in mind that you still have to give some form of critique on the card itself, rather than just fix OCG. (I did say that you are allowed to correct card grammar, assuming you also give your own thoughts.)

 

That in mind, I'm going to assume that the latter's fix is what the thread creator had in mind for this card.

 

As it is, it's only useful if you already have another Level 6 monster out to Xyz with, but suppose it helps a bit if you need that extra push to summon something right away. Hieratics/Cyber Angels could PROBABLY use it for extending their R6 plays, but I think they can already do it fine on their own (in the former case, it locks out one of their usual bosses due to the material thing). I would say Spellcaster decks can use this to make Magi Magi, but not sure which of them can do it at present.

@wurwulf the second wording is right. Though Progenitor seems to have added a once per turn that you didn't have, so you can take that out if you don't want it. It is a good idea though. 

 

I feel that this card makes Beatrice far too easily. Any deck that runs just a handful of level 6s, and couldn't previously field two of them, could just tech this to go into her, as well as the plethora of other powerful rk6s like Ptolemy or Bounzer. Monarchs could run this, even though it doesn't have the monarch stats. Maybe Kozmos.

Is there a particular reason you made it level 6? It's a strange level.
