The Nyx Avatar
Pendulum Effect:If your opponent would destroy a card by a card effect: You can pay 800 Life Points; it is not destroyed. You can only activate this effect of "Soul Harvester Melissa" twice per turn. Monster Effect:After damage calculation, if this card battles a monster: Negate the effects of that monster (including in the Graveyard).
Black D'Sceptyr
Sweetness, I have that picture too! Oh right, the card. Obvious advantage of twice-a-turn card protection is OBVIOUS. But some things are still unclear to me on that Pendulum front-is this during your turn or both turns? Because 1 of those would pose a problem I'm probably reading too much into. Like, this needs a Duriing your/either player's turn wording in there. And does this cover your opponent's cards as well? (I also assume you mean cards on the field, but again, DAT WURDIN GAME IS OFF.) Because if this would bring...let's just say BOTH FIRE-based Pendulum archetype we have to a dead halt if so. And also hard counters IGNIIIIIISTER. Which is scary good. Just ask Cyber Angel Vishnu. Now, onto the battling effect. Screw the whole besides the "can't be targeted or destroyed" mechanic, negating whatever you battle is the true form of protection. With this, and a sufficient amount of power, Utopia the Lightning itself can't contend with this. But it still seems underwhelming on a card so advantageous to you in the Pendulum Zone. Or is that the reason? Hell if I know, I'm ill right now. (no really I am) Anyways, something for Sinister Yoshiro and Demon Emperor Angmar to look at/work with/curl up, (WTF) -especially on the protective front. 7.5/10-keep it up! But there are plenty of non-target protection effects that'd be better to get rid of, and I thought this was a good way.

Chaosix
well, the pend scales being 2 is nice, being able to summon anything in the meta, and the low price of 800 is okay. i dont find the negate effect ability to be the best. also, why does it have 2300 atk and def?
